Description

We are 10 minutes from the lake at Hostens, and live in a house with 1600 m² of land. We have chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and a mini dog, who is very friendly but doesn't like other dogs, so it's difficult to welcome them into our home.
If necessary, you can use our bathroom and fridge.
We also have a barbecue.
We look forward to meeting you.

The setting

Surrounded by forest, overlooking a meadow, a small road just to the rear of the pitch but few vehicles in the evening and a few more in the morning.

The spots

The pitch is next to our property, and you enter through a small gate into the garden, where you'll find a sitting area with dry toilets and a solar shower.

The activities

The Hostens lake is 10 minutes away for swimming, paddling or canoeing.
There is a horse-riding center in our village and a larger one in Hostens.
Places to visit include Bazas, for a walk along the ramparts, or the Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste, a must-see monument in Sud Gironde. Built between the 11th and 14th centuries, this Gothic monument is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and houses a magnificent turquoise organ.

Other things

I can provide breakfast for 6 euros per person. Just let us know when you book.
There is a pizzeria and bar in Hostens, which is 10 minutes from us, as well as a semi-gastro restaurant and a grocery store in our village.

Rules

The place is next to a forest, so please be careful with your cigarettes....please do not leave your cigarette butts and papers on the ground - a garbage can is provided for you.
