Description

⚠️ PLEASE READ THIS ADVERTISEMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING, TO ENSURE THAT THE SITE CORRESPONDS TO YOUR SEARCH (I will not answer questions that are already answered in the ad).

⚠️ A tourist tax of 0.22 cents per night (2023 rate) is charged by the commune to anyone over 16 years of age (please deposit the amount corresponding to your stay in cash in my mailbox, if possible specifying your first and last name on an envelope). For more information on the tourist tax levied by tourist communes to cover their seasonal expenses, please consult the dedicated section of the Communauté de communes presqu'île de Crozon-Aulne maritime website.

At the southern entrance to the PRESQU'ILE DE CROZON, the village of TELGRUC-SUR-MER is ideally located for discovering the magnificent Crozon peninsula, between the BAIE DE DOUARNENEZ and the RADE DE BREST, and visiting the surrounding area: LOCRONAN is 25 km away, QUIMPER and DOUARNENEZ 40 km, BREST around 50 km...
In season, there's a daily boat service between Crozon (LE FRET) and Brest, and it's also possible to take a boat to the islands of OUESSANT, MOLÈNE or SEIN from CAMARET (remember to book several days in advance).
P.S.: for all information about the PRESQU'ÎLE DE CROZON, please consult the website of the Crozon-Aulne maritime peninsula tourist office, or visit one of the tourist offices on the Crozon peninsula (the one in TELGRUC, open in season, is located between the town hall and the post office; those in Crozon or Camaret are open all year round).

The setting

Between sea and countryside, close to a large, beautiful sandy beach and the GR 34 hiking trail, you'll be able to recharge your batteries and reconnect with nature and breathtaking scenery at any time of year...

The spots

Just a few minutes' walk from a large, beautiful, family-friendly sandy beach, ideal for walking, swimming and water sports (paddles, kayaks and sand yachts can be rented near the beach in season), I offer you a pitch in a vast meadow bordered by hedges, slightly sloping and easily accessible from the road, suitable for campervans, vans, caravans or tents in summer (N.Note: bivouacs are strictly forbidden on the Crozon peninsula and throughout the Parc naturel régional d'Armorique - PNRA).
Out of season, or in case of bad weather, equipped vehicles can park on the access road to the property or in the asphalt courtyard in front of the house (on request).

The sanitary facilities

⚠️ NO SANITARY FACILITIES ON SITE (out of respect for other campers, please use the PUBLIC WC and WASH BASINS located in the main beach parking lot, approx. 800 m from the campsite, on the beach road towards the village of Telgruc).
⚠️ Campervans and motorhomes with toilets will find a wastewater disposal tank behind the beach toilet block.

The amenities

⚠️ NO SHOWER OR WC on site (public toilets approx. 800 m away), NO WATER, NO ELECTRICITY, NO WIFI.

⚠️ GARBAGE: Once sorted, garbage should be deposited in the containers located at "Gare d'Argol", just outside Telgruc, on the road to Châteaulin. Glass containers are also available in the parking lots at either end of the beach.

The activities

Stroll along the beach, hike the coastal paths (GR 34) overlooking the magnificent Bay of Douarnenez, take part in water sports (kayaks, paddles and sand yachts for hire near the beach), fish ... and swim in season!

Situation
  • Carole is very friendly and accommodating.

The place is just as described.
The field overlooks the bay, and you can't get enough of the view.

A large tree provides shade for those who camp under it.
Peace and quiet are guaranteed, as the field is set back from a small (and little-used) road.
As other visitors have pointed out, the terrain is slightly sloping.

And yes, you have to use the public sanitary facilities on the beach 500 meters below, but that's the only drawback we can point out.

One last important point: there's a cool little restaurant (Le Tidi) along the beach. It's a great address for a simple aperitif or sunset dinner.
    I'll be back with pleasure.

  • Land as expected, super quiet. We recommend

  • Location as per photos.
We had a view of the sea as we slept in a tent on the roof.
The public toilets nearby were really dirty when we visited (mid-August).
The beach 800m away is very nice!
    Carole is very responsive.
We had an excellent night on this quiet site (there was only one tent next to us), clean, isolated and well exposed (breakfast in the sun).
    I recommend this site.
    Thank you Carole.

  • We didn't run into Carole but had all the information we needed.
The site was clean with a sea view.
We paid 19 euros for the night.

  • Hello,
Superb stay with a magnificent view!

    Positive points :
    - Quiet location
    - Proximity to telgruc beach (500m as the crow flies)
    - Sea view from ❤️
    - The beauty of the area

    Negative points:
    - The sanitary facilities are towards the beach (WC, showers open but not working).
    - The grass on the pitch was a bit high for tent camping

  • Ideal location with superb views

  • Hello,
Very disappointed by the service, for 19€, we had the right to a field with the presence of round Ballers, no sea view, nothing to do with the profile picture.

  • We arrived in the late morning of the 23rd, it was raining on Crozon. I quickly saw that the site of stay, which is a sloping pasture has only one improbable entry not stabilized. When I crossed this entrance I was sure that I would not be able to get out of it, obvious risk of getting stuck. Carole proposed us to stay in her concrete yard, but we don't go camping for that. I preferred to turn around and we settled down on a free, flat and stabilized area 100m from the beach.

In conclusion, we don't advise against this site, except if it rains or is likely to rain during the stay, unless the entrance is stabilized (and widened).

    Have a nice vacation.

    Didier.

  • Carole was very welcoming during our stay. We were delighted to stay in her field with the surprise of having a beautiful view. We will be back with great pleasure! Thanks again for the matches

  • A little expensive for a simple field without any facilities and other campers ....
    Without meeting the owner .

  • Because of our program, we did not meet Carole, despite that she was available and very responsive to messages.
Small enclosed space at 5min from the beach, quiet, without really any view, but don't hesitate to go and have lunch at the water's edge.

  • Warm welcome! I felt at home ;-) and the beach is only 4 minutes away ! A delight ! Can't wait for the next time!

  • We need at least a 6th or 7th star for the location! Carole is very nice ! Thank you for the welcome

  • Very nice location near the sea. 300 m by bike or on foot, quiet. Thanks to carole

  • A great meeting! Carole is very attentive to her home campers and delivers every day her good advices to make them discover her peninsula. The land is very nice, the beach is 3mn walk away, beautiful landscapes, wild ... we loved it! We will come back for sure!

  • Carol is friendly, quick to respond, the land is nice and very quiet. Easy descent to the beach. Be autonomous.

  • A beautiful location, the beach is close by. But attention for autonomous campers, showers and toilets at your expense. And yes, that's what autonomy is all about!

  • Land with no amenities and beautiful sunsets on the sea. Small pebbled cove for swimming.

  • Very pleasant setting a few minutes from the beach on foot.
It would miss only a dry toilet.

  • Discreet and attentive host, superb view, access to the beach in a few minutes. We were bluffed by the beauty of the surroundings, the village has everything necessary for a perfect stay. Thank you Carole

  • We enjoyed this beautiful land with sea view, spacious and quiet, very well located to visit the peninsula of Crozon!

  • In spite of the rain and the storm, we spent a pleasant night, and could admire the splendid sight with the alarm clock!

  • Nice plot a few steps from the sea, great view
    We had a great night!
    Thank you ????

  • Carole welcomed us well, easy communication. Large plot with sea view. We had a good night despite the rain.

  • The grounds are great and Carole is a wonderful host!
    Thank you for everything!

  • Beautiful place, ideally located, Carole is very nice, and very good advice!

  • Very good for a short break, even if the price is the same as the neighboring campground, also close to the beach.

  • It was a good place.
A plus would be a water point and a dry toilet.

  • Wonderful view- very good communication

  • We spent a pleasant stay and Carole super welcoming I recommend.

  • Quiet place and easy access with a path that leads to the beach in 5 min. Small downside, it is not at all the photo of the ad. The sight is nevertheless well with Part la Haie which hides a little. We were a little disappointed in the arrival nevertheless... reactive contact.

  • Well located in Telgruc sur mer which offers a very nice setting.
On the other hand, the absence of a water and toilet area is a problem.
The sanitary facilities on the beach are very badly maintained (shower out of order and dirty toilets).
For a price close to a campsite, it's a little bit fair.
But good experience all the same, there is just this point to correct according to me

  • As advertised. Nice view from the lot.
A welcome would have been welcome ☺️
Sanitary and showers 1km away, attention cleanliness and random availability.

  • A well located site. Thanks for the welcome!

  • We found this little haven of peace by chance and we are not disappointed.
Considering the difficulties to find "safe" places we are very happy of our stop, which lasted 4 days :)
The places of the region are protected and very often forbidden to camping.
Carole is very welcoming and we feel very well at home.

  • Very friendly welcome and a great place with sea view!

  • The advantage of the field is that the access is free, you come and go when you want. Carole's directions are very easy to find the land. Carole is very pleasant and gives advice to visit the surroundings! The view of the land is amazing and for the sunsets it's great ! Thanks Carole !

  • We were in CC. Ideally placed for the access to the beach, clear water and super good! Also for the small restaurants, very nice and very good. The view is superb, it's a pity that the hedge is a little high otherwise we could have even seen the sea sitting outside. We think that we will return, because it is worth the cost. The access being free, we did not see Carole (which explains 1 star, there is an obligation to fill the field "reception"!!) we did not try to meet her.

  • Excellent reception, land with sea view and sun ! We had a great stay ! Thanks again Carole !

  • We had a great time on Carole's property. I felt very welcome and appreciated her directions to a beautiful beach and the shortcut to the beach...
I thank the big pine tree in the field for its saving shade and its soothing presence! I liked the nice view once the hedge was trimmed a bit just for us ????
Too bad the public restrooms aren't better maintained ????

  • Very convenient land because 10 min walk from the beach and sanitary facilities, although we did not have the chance to meet Carole we exchanged well by SMS and Carole gave us lots of information. Thank you for the welcome !

  • good welcome,
The only drawback, independent of the host, is that the harvester was out from 5pm to 11pm... so we were not in the quiet!

  • Carole had told me that she would not be there, but that we could settle down anyway, it was nice of her,. We were surprised by the site, it is uncultivated, not much maintenance, maybe she can't, otherwise we found a water point, on the positive side, there is a superb view on the sea and its surroundings. The place is quiet, but compared to the price, it's a bit expensive! Well, everyone has his own tastes! Good stay to the future travelers.

  • Carole is a welcoming host who is passionate about the peninsula and is happy to inform you. The view is fantastic!

  • One of our most beautiful stopovers in Brittany! The place is quiet, the view is beautiful, the beach is a few minutes away by foot, a very nice guinguette down the street... Only positive things (except maybe the high grass but that didn't bother us) !
Carole is welcoming (at all hours!) and has good advice.
We will come back with great pleasure.

  • Nice little plot of land with sea view. Very nice sunset. Deckchairs and tables at disposal. Very nice welcome from Carole.

  • Very good stay and a very good welcome from Carole, who advised me perfectly on the sites to visit.
    Thanks a lot!

  • The setting is really nice. Very well located. A small mowing Dudu fields would be nice. Everything is within reach, shops, beach etc...
We slept very well, quiet place.
We went to make of the kayak in morgat and at the end 1/2 hour about fifteen Dolphins came next to us. It was really magical. Thanks Carole, we will come back.

  • Nice view on the beach of Telgruc. Easy beach access with advice from Carol.
No service except table and chairs at disposal.

  • Super location with a beautiful view and quick response from our host. we paid 50€ for the 2 nights in a van and 4 people (a little expensive because no service) and unfortunately the grass was very high.
A few minutes from the beach.
