I can give you information on places to visit and places where you can enjoy traditional meals or eat in typical places.
I like to receive visitors and advise them on places to discover and eat. I like to exchange ideas.

The setting

Surrounded by pines and aromatic plants, you'll find the ideal place to park your motorhome for one or more days, on a fully fenced plot.
Less than 10 kilometers from Lac de Sainte-Croix and close to many tourist attractions.
Wild camping is forbidden in the Parc Naturel du Verdon, so you'll feel right at home in the midst of typical Provencal vegetation.

The spots

You can set up wherever you like - there are no specific locations.
The garden is large and practical, with sunny and shady areas.

There are water points all over the site where you can refuel.

The amenities

Access to water and electricity (extension cord available).
Access to the swimming pool is strictly reserved for gîte guests.
However, if the gîte is not rented or if access to the pool is possible, the owner may grant you access to the pool.
The pétanque court is available.

The activities

The village of Aups, in the Provencal hinterland, is the perfect holiday destination for young and old alike, with its magnificent natural surroundings, wide range of activities and traditional charm.
A stay in Aups is above all a unique opportunity to enjoy an ideal location. The village is in the immediate vicinity of the Verdon gorges and their regional nature park. Here, you can enjoy unspoilt nature and magnificent scenery. The gorges are also an ideal location for white-water sports: rafting, canoeing, canyoning... thrilling activities for adrenaline junkies! In the park, climbing and hiking await you. And if you're looking for a little variety on your Aups vacation, the sea is only 60 kilometers away and the snow only 80.
You can also enjoy the gentle pace of life in the village. At the table, it's the specialities that will seduce gourmets: wine, honey, olive oil and the coveted black truffle. Don't miss the typical markets to discover these delicacies, as well as the local arts and crafts (mosaics, painted furniture and fabrics, sculpture...).
Aups also boasts a rich heritage, which we invite you to discover during your stay in the Var. The town is dotted with architectural sights such as the Ursulines convent (the chapel houses the Museum of Modern Art), the Horloge tower, the Gothic collegiate church of Saint Pancrace and the ruins of the castle and ramparts. The narrow streets will take you back to a picturesque medieval atmosphere.

In the mornings, to save you having to travel with your camper van, I'll fetch you bread and croissants from the village bakery 3 km away.

Rules

The site must be cleaned before departure. We ask you to respect nature and the peace and quiet of the site. Alcohol abuse is forbidden, and respect for the owners and other guests is required. No unwanted noise after midnight.
Access to swimming pool possible after authorization of owners if no rental of gîtes or if they are absent.
