Land & setting
  • We stayed 3 nights at Benjamin's place! It's a great place in the middle of the olive trees. The bathrooms are very clean, we even had the chance to taste the good tomatoes of the garden! 14km from the beach and next to the tourist sites of Alberobello and locorotondo! Don't hesitate to stop for a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded seaside in this period. As a bonus, it produces its own olive oil! So we did not need to look for good oil to bring back we bought it on the spot! I recommend it!

  • Thanks to Benjamin and Myriam for welcoming us in their olive field! See you soon!

  • The place is very beautiful and quiet, the equipment clean and complete. Myriam and Benjamin are welcoming, generous, nice. Everything is perfect with them.

  • I had planned to spend the night in a tent but due to the late arrival time I was kindly offered to sleep under the roof in an annex still being finished but perfect for me. I recommend it. Jean-Michel

  • Everything was great! Nice place and nice people :) Thank you for your hospitality!

  • We spent a very nice week discovering Puglia.
Whether it was the sea, the cities, the caves, or the burrata, everything was a treat! And the welcome of our hosts was perfect!
    Thanks :-)

  • We spent one night in this beautiful place. A very pleasant welcome, very clean and well maintained facilities. Nothing to say it was perfect. We recommend ++.

  • The stay with Myriam and Benjamin was great. The farm is a little paradise and the countryside around is beautiful. We could not camp because of a strong wind but they offered us a room in exchange. Thank you very much for your welcome and see you soon!

  • We found there, the peace and quiet, far from the overcrowded and noisy campsites of the Adriatic coast.
Benjamin was on vacation and was replaced by Nico and Gemma who were perfectly adequate.
They invited us one evening to a BBQ with their friends and we talked with them about their activities.
They sell excellent products from their farm.
This is a Gamping that we strongly recommend.

  • Superb welcome.... placed in the nature...I will return there for sure!

  • Super Gamping !!!!
Welcoming people in a quiet and pleasant environment.
    Thanks to them.

  • We had a very pleasant stay and were very well received. Thanks to all of you

  • We were warmly welcomed by Benjamin and his family.

The land is well suited for camping and the shade is provided by the olive trees.
A separate building for the sanitary facilities is available. It is also welcome in case of hot weather.
Benjamin, Myriam & co. were always attentive and attentive to our needs and made our stay very pleasant.
    Thank you very much

  • Great welcome from benjamin. Available and attentive. His land was perfect for us (couple with 5 children) in stopover before taking the road to Gallipoli. It is an address to which we will return on the road of the vacations. Thanks to you Benjamin and see you soon. Ciao

  • A very welcoming, friendly and helpful family! An extraordinary environment

  • We spent 10 exceptional days in this masseria in Puglia, well located, the tent in the middle of a field of olive trees ... Ben and Myriam are more than hosts, they are people to meet and who will take pleasure in sharing their love of the country with you. We feel at home, we take the time to live. Amateur(s) of bad gastronomy... abstain!

  • Excellent stay with Benjamin! All his family - Myriam his wife, their children, Nicolas and Gemma - is super nice. We had a great time with them, having great meals with their friends. The place is magic, a typical masseria with a huge ground.

  • All was super in this camp-site and especially the owners. We spent a superb evening with them. Their friends make very well the kitchen ^^ They helped us for the continuation of our trip. They are very nice people, welcoming and incredible! I advise you to go to their place to camp!
Thanks again for the evening and your advice.

  • Great experience, welcoming, warm, spontaneous, cosmopolitan...Ben and Myriam gave us good advice on what to do in the area...We highly recommend this beautiful Masseria in southern Italy. You will plant your aunt under an olive tree, you will cross the goats, will caress the donkeys, the dogs and the cats. You will share with the family the pasta with vegetables from the garden. In short, we loved it.

  • I was very pleased to meet a lovely young international (Italian-French-English) family, the owners of a beautifull ancient family estate called in the south-eastern part of Italy “Masseria” with old country house and marvelous olive and cherry gardens.

My hosts allowed me to place my tent in the olive garden where I could enjoy silence, healthy sleep and relax – all, what I miss in my big city life. 

The surroundings of Masseria offer great opportunity for bicуcle and also foot trips: cca. 6 km to the famous Grotte di Castellana; cca. 11 km to Alberobello. The legendary Trulli-houses, typical for Puglia region, you can meet even at the neighbour lots.

If you travell by car there are more opportunities for you (for example, you can also go to Monopoli ( a beautifull town at the Adriatic coast - 20 km), or to Bari, a capital of Puglia Region (cca. 45 km from Catellana grotte).

For the travellers like me, without car, there also not bad opportunity to travell by regional train.
From the host house there is only 4 km to the train station Castellana grotte (also a very nice small town) and my hosts were able to organize for me a transfer to the station without problem. By train you can also go to Alberbello and Bari.

The host family develops an agrotourism first of all for the kids. So, if you travell with kids, there is also a good opportunity for them to learn a country life and to meet real coutnry inhabitants:gooses, goats, chickens, dogs and even donkey. ;)

I should say that by my host family I’ve found not only a suitable location, but even more: a feeling to be at home and as a part of a family. So, I’d like to thank my Masseria family for a hospitality! I’m vey happy to meet you and would like to come to you again! ;)
