Description

Camping at the farm (organic market gardening) in a very wooded area.
Limited capacity, for the tranquility of all.

Since 05/2022 : the town hall restricts the activity of reception in the farm, notably for reasons of fire risks. File in cors. Short stay, emergency : to try...

The setting

Air, space, calm. Surrounded by scrubland (pine, rosemary, cade,...), a forest of ash trees not far away.
Very isolated site but village accessible on foot 20 minutes

The spots

Free.
Maximum of 6 horizontal platforms, separated and isolated from each other, with water point (water from the well that serves the house, untreated filtered water).
Electricity possible (small power).

Perfect for a camping car / caravan, for 1 weekend, a short or long stay. You have to come and see.

The sanitary facilities

No real sanitary facilities, we will have to improvise while waiting for the dry toilets, under construction soon.
A pallet box to compost the wood shavings of the dry toilets. Please avoid using chemicals in the toilet of the camping car.

The amenities

Access to an outside tap, water from a private well.
Electricity to be negotiated according to the chosen location.

The activities

It is always possible to give a hand for the agricultural activities: market gardening, beekeeping (well, there, it is not a hand, it is for your curiosity), clearing brush, cutting wood, feeding the chickens, watering the vegetable garden, irrigating the fruit trees,... even preparing the preserves during the harvest.
Nothing is mandatory and it is not paid! Otherwise in harvested products.

Other things

Respect for the calm of the night desired,... listen to the birds, it's nice too !

Rules

Total ban on fires from April to October: too many risks of fires in the scrubland. The ban is valid for the department. So cook with gas taking all precautions and no BBQ / bonfire !

You like music, so do I. (clarinet) I don't impose mine on you, neither do you. On the other hand, the agricultural activities sometimes make a little noise (tractor),... sorry. It doesn't last long.

The access is independent so no rules for the accesses, if it is not the obligation to not disturb the other gampeurs.

  • Very nice host. Gave us even salad. The driveway is unsuitable for a camper with a width of more than two meters. We have received scratches on both sides due to thorn bushes. The access road is in very poor general condition and is only passable at walking speed for about two kilometers. Furthermore, the power went out at 6:00.
