The setting
Our plot sits on a hilltop overlooking the surrounding countryside. From here, the panoramic view over the mountains of the Madonie Park is fantastic. The area is rich in wild plants, trees (oak, ash, olive, fruit) and a variety of crops (in spring: ancient varieties of wheat, broad beans, peas...). In summer, we harvest manna from certain varieties of ash. This is an ancient tradition now practised only in this region of Sicily. Manna is edible and used in natural medicine, cosmetics and confectionery.
Our land is located on the top of a hill. From there, you will enjoy a fantastic panoramic view on the Madonie mountains. The place is rich in wild plants and trees. The spots
The top of the site is flat, allowing guests to choose from a range of different pitches. In particular, they can set up in the shade of the trees. Access to the site is on foot (on arrival and departure, we carry luggage by quad bike). Guests can leave their cars nearby (no security problems).

La cima della collina è pianeggiante e permette agli ospiti di scegliere diverse piazzole.
L'accesso al terreno si fa a piedi (a l'arrivo e alla partenza portiamo i vostri bagagli in quad). Gli ospiti possono lasciare la loro macchina vicino (non ci sono problemi di sicurezza).
The sanitary facilities

The amenities
Nous mettons à disposition dans la maisonette qui se trouve sur place une petite cuisinière à gaz (2 feux). La maisonette et la pergola à côté sont éclairées le soir grâce à un panneau solaire.

The activities
Beaches: the first beaches (quiet and mostly frequented by locals) are 9km away (15 min by car). Cefalù beach 15km away.
Our property is located in the Madonie Park (40,000 hectares). This is one of the richest areas of biodiversity in the Mediterranean. The park is part of UNESCO's global network of geoparks.
We ourselves are nature guides (Madonie Explorers) and organize hikes in the Madonie Park.
Cultural visits: towns of Cefalù and Castelbuono, many small villages in the surrounding area.
