Description

The setting

Nestled in a valley of the rolling hills of the Palouse, it has a beautiful setting for views of the surrounding hills, near a rarely used paved road making it a very quiet place to listen to the frogs in the evening and the birds in the morning. It is also an hour away from any city so it is great for stargazing.

The spots

Rock Lake and Bonnie Lake are amazing lakes to canoe, kayak, boat or fish if you want to be on the water and the John Wayne Trail passes beside Rock Lake offering great panoramic views of the lake and the Scablands. Rock Lake is only 15 minutes away and Bonnie Lake is closer to 30 min. and well worth the time it takes to get there. Palouse Falls is an hour away. Steptoe Butte is 30 minutes to the top for great views of the rolling hills.

The sanitary facilities

Composting toilet, fresh well water from the spigot. We provide a water cooler and ice chest if needed.

The amenities

Wireless internet if needed. Cast iron pans for the fire, and firewood supplied. Basic ingredients can be supplied. Electricity is available for charging phones or hooking up RV's from the barn, shop, or shed.

The activities

Three Game courts with horseshoes, bocce ball and croquet on firm surfaces for maximum fun. Indoor recreational games may be available when you stay. We want you to explore the Palouse and we can show you where all the great spots are and take you on exclusive private photography tours as well.
