The setting

The place is perfectly nice and quiet, there are miles of beautiful and relaxing beaches and lots of good and very affordable restaurants. Located in Bang Por village , the place is in a green setting, surrounded by jungle.

The spots

The land in front of the house is half gravel and half covered area with concret floor, that make a huge awning (40 sqm), easy to access directly from the street road. The land is flat and in concrete under the covered area. Next to the camper area, there is a nice gazebo with a table and banks. We can accommodate a vehicle of maximum 8,8 meter or 29 feet. Note that for the tents there is no grass but a concrete floor, a yoga mattress, a pillow and bed cover are available upon request a few hours prior of arrival.

The sanitary facilities

The hot shower, WC and kitchen on the ground floor can be used when the host is not sleeping but... We also have an apartment on the 1st floor that we rent on Airbnb so when it's vacant we live upstairs, then there is no usage limitation of the ground floor. 24h access. There is a water tap directly next to the RV area, from wich we can quickly organise an independent shower using the water tap that comes with a shower end and i can bring a paravent screen. If you can't deal with the jungle around, have kids, or you do need to use the toilet at night you still can knock at the door, we are relaxed people. lol

The kitchen is well equipped, there is a 20m electric extender available. Wifi is strong and fast 50 mb.

The activities

We recommend our place to those who like to relax, quiet beaches and contacts with local people. We are 10 miles away from the center of the island that it is much more hectic.

The quickest way to go to the beach is via a restaurant by the beachfront at 250m, the public access (email hidden)There is a Seven-Eleven (a small store open 24/7) and a pharmacy, lots of restaurants and small shops within 500m.

The very affordable Songthaew are available in no time on the ring road at 200m, a fare cost between 40 thai baht and 100 THB per person depending on the distance.

You can directly rent a car or a motorcycle with insurance or a jet ski, to our landlord (and friend) at fair prices.
