Description

The plots are located in a hamlet 2km from the village, the tranquility is assured!

The setting

Wake up and go to bed here to the sounds of nature.
I have sheep that go "beeeehh" from time to time!

The spots

The pitches are free in each of the 2 grounds, they are both wooded so with shade to avoid a too aggressive sun on the tent. The choice of the site depends on the sheep and your relationship with them!

The sanitary facilities

I leave my bathroom and toilet at your disposal. There is hot water (a 300L tank).

The amenities

There is an outdoor living room with table and sofa under the canopy to eat, play, spend an evening around the brazier... for barbecues, there is also the brazier.
If there are several electrical outlets available, extension cords can be pulled if needed.

The activities

As everywhere in Brittany, there are many festnoz organized around, otherwise cycling and fishing are practicable everywhere.
The coast is 40 minutes away, the mythical forest of Broceliande also.

Other things

Do not hesitate to ask when you are there, sympathy usually opens all the doors!

Rules

The only rules: leave clean when you leave, do not feed the animals without warning, do not smoke inside.
For the rest, it is enough to share the good mood.

Situation
  • Despite Karim's sympathy (seen on arrival around 9pm), I have to give a very negative review of the rented grounds. Why? Karim rents land where the sheep graze all year round. There is no possibility to make a clean place because it is full of sheep droppings. To access the large field, you have to step over a pallet (dangerous), it is good for young people so not accessible to all. The sheep are free all the time, so you have to live with them. Impossible for me since I came with my two dogs. Opposite the building, Karim offers a smaller plot. The access is difficult, a small hillock in time of rain is super slippery thus dangerous also. We arrive then in a ground which I will name orchard, place also armored with droppings of sheep and rabbits. The night falling quickly, I cleaned me a place and I set up my tent there.
The positive point, if it was nickel clean, is the small space (small barn renovated a minimum), with table chairs, bench, toilet, shower and a sink. On top there seems to be a possibility to put a bed base. (small mezzanine).
It would be better to simply rent this place. For two people it would do.
The whole of the external framework, what to say? A lot of work and a lot of money to invest.
The courtyard is in no way maintained. When you arrive, it's a mess. One believes to arrive in a farm in ruin.
I understand better why it is necessary to reserve and to pass by a site for the payment before. Once we have paid we stay. You get screwed once but not twice.
My criticisms are only constructive and must give the will to Karim if he wants to continue this activity, to apply simply without expenses a minimum.
The vehicles cannot be near the campers. If you come for a week, you leave with a lot of things and to carry them to the bottom of the fields, you need courage and good will.
In short, with few means it seems to me that there is a possible potential.
    1) The corner called outdoor living room (like under the car-port) would be a plus if already at the base the old sofa was ejected. Karim has pallets and could make a nice place where I think campers would like to meet, to settle.
    2) The space called studio: empty a maximum of personal belongings, put it clean, provide a broom a bucket a mop.
    3) It is absolutely vital that Karim only rents a piece of land, for example the orchard, and that he keeps it clean without ever putting the sheep there. Prune the branches of the trees. This place could be a place of reception, of rent.
In my opinion, Karim could also turn to other forms of reception. Working in social work, I have some ideas.
Here again, I repeat myself, Karim is nice. Working a lot outside, he certainly doesn't have the time to manage everything.
A little time, no financial investment to already do what I advise him.

  • A nice night with the sheep as roommates!
    Really very nice :)
    Karim is warm and benevolent.
    We recommend ;)
