Description

Charming winegrower's house located in the heart of the village where old stones enclose a small picturesque garden with no vis-à-vis, except for the surrounding countryside, the birds and the sky.

The setting

As our friend Charles would certainly say: "There, everything is order and beauty, luxury, calm and pleasure".

The spots

The intimate garden is conducive to calm and relaxation. Only the insects and a few rare nocturnal birds of prey will keep you company in the silence of the night. For the comfort of the campers, we have chosen to open it to one tent only, which can be large and accommodate a maximum of 4 people. The terrain is flat with some country grass and a few rocks here and there, but nothing inconvenient in itself. Its charm will delight the essential seekers.

The sanitary facilities

Independent toilets inside the garage adjoining the garden as well as a washbasin in the laundry room are available to travelers at any time. Showers will be taken at my place, preferably in the evening.

The amenities

We don't have an internet box, so no wifi available. However, you will find wifi in the village 2min away on foot. Otherwise, we have good phone coverage if you have internet access via your cell phone. The kitchen is in the house. You can use it before our meal or if you wish share the meal with us. A large outdoor terrace and a smaller one downstairs in the garden are also at your disposal. For electricity we provide an extension cord with a multi-socket.

The activities

On site, depending on the season you come, you can laze in the sun on the deckchairs, read, play an instrument and enjoy the small above ground pool in the summer. (Nb. I did not install it this year)
In the surrounding area there are many walks and hikes, visits to sumptuous abbeys, picturesque villages such as Pézenas, city of Molière and more anonymously of the king of puns, Bobby Lapointe, canoeing at 1 hour drive and other beautiful activities.

Other things

For the moment we are owners of a nice dog of 14 months (ok everything, sociable, coded and nice; I specify that he will not bother you in the garden during your stay) and of 3 cats with whom we live, of course... 2 nice cats + a kitty who wanders most of the time in the surrounding countryside and not only in mid-August (wink to Bobby ;)
By respect of the neighborhood, quiet is welcome after 11pm.

Rules

In this haven of peace, we prefer to accept non-smokers, those who are trying to quit and pipe smokers, who are very welcome :) As long as everyone knows how to show respect and good citizenship.
No disabled access, the showers are on the floor. As for the children, only those having reached the age of reason.

We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you!

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€5 / person)

Breakfast includes a hot drink (tea, coffee, herbal tea, chocolate milk), an orange juice, 2 slices of fresh bread (half a baguette) with sweet or semi-salted butter and local jam, a croissant or a fresh chocolate bread.

Tent ready

1 big tent for 3 to 4 people, depending on your respective body thicknesses of course and 1 tent for 1 to 2 people ... idem.
The loan is free, but a deposit of 20 and 10 euros for each tent will be required.
