Description

A quiet place in the countryside in Gravina in Puglia. Gorgeous town to visit on the same level of beauty as Matera.
The land is a reforestation and permaculture site. There are prototypes of green building construction.

The setting

The soil is an increasingly diverse and biodiverse garden.

There is some noise coming from the road but if you want, there are places further away from passing cars but it is without shade.

The land is a long rectangle and from the entrance on a departemental street. Cars noise exists but is very little. And if really you do not want any noise there are other places (no shadow).

The spots

The different pitches are level on a decultivated space.
If you want to be in the shade even after 8 a.m., you can set up your tent in two locations. The others are without shade.

The sanitary facilities

I installed a dry toilet with a solar shower, which is very convenient. Outside you will find a sink with reclaimed water from the roof.
I use only organic soap and toothpaste for this reason I provide you with natural soap in the sink space.

Important: please do NOT leave your garbage on the grounds.

The amenities

Light available near the communal trailer. Please also take your own flashlight.
Garland of lights under the trees where you will find tables.
Solar light near by the compost toilet.

Outdoor kitchen available for guests, with dishes, basic ingredients.
Sink for dishwashing available for guests at the caravan.
No internet available.

The activities

At the Land of Winds we could take a tour of the various plants there. I could introduce you to the reforestation work done so far.
It is possible for you to have a private space to do yoga or meditate or whatever.
It is possible to build a fire together or independently. In the summer, no.
Or spend a cool summer evening under the trees chatting.

Rules

You are more than welcome if you respect the trees, bushes, flowers, composting, neighborhood.

When you leave please take your rubbish with you unless it is organic (it's precious).

Check-in time to communicate. We do not live on the land.

Kids are more than welcome, play ground available.

The position is aproximate.
In summer, check-in around 5pm.
In summer, check-out around 11am.

Possibility of breakfast (€7 / person)

Breakfast. Coffee, tea or herbal tea. Bread with home made marmelades and fruits.

We can offer an option for dinner. You can ask after the reservation.
