  • An exceptional setting!
The fort is ideally located and we enjoyed it! The feeling of calm is incredibly pleasant and the facilities are very well taken care of.
The only drawback: the solar showers were cold due to the lack of sunshine and the price was a bit high. But the incredible setting made us quickly forget this inconvenience.
A very nice experience to relive! Thank you !

  • a beautiful quiet place with great view on both marais and water. bit sparse regarding shower and watersupply but worth while nonetheless! isabelle is a perfect host, friendly and not intrusive.

  • Very nice place at the water's edge, practical shower corner but it's a pity that there were so many people present on the site which prevented from really enjoying it.

  • Fantastic location of the fort. We enjoyed the day very much. Us was a bit busy (almost like camping).
But an experience with solar shower in the ambience of a fort, dry toilets that take a little getting used to, lovingly antiquarian furnished breakfast and lounge, quiet without everyday noise, a paradise in the middle of the marshes at the mouth of the Charente. We are happy about this experience.

  • We were able to enjoy a magnificent sunset with an exceptional setting, the only point a little more negative are the dry toilets because some people did not necessarily put back chips ...
This is not the fault of Isabelle who was very welcoming!
    Thanks again :)

  • Hello ,
Great welcome from Caroll, very nice and quiet place.
A little expensive but very very good.

  • Exceptional site and top welcome by Anaïs. We took the breakfast option which was perfect. In the end, it's not cheap for a relatively spartan campsite (89 euros for 4 without breakfast, with a slightly cool solar shower) but the sunset on the bay is worth it!

  • Super atypical and welcoming place.

  • I recommend this magnificent place to anyone who wants to discover an atypical, calm and wild space.

Isabelle, the hostess is very welcoming and I will keep a very good memory of my stay in this place.

I will return there with pleasure.

  • We stayed 3 nights with our granddaughter ( 7 years old) in this fascinating fort. Also the birds, frogs and sunsettings gave us life-long memories.

  • Incredible place! The hosts are pleasant! Just the price for a camping as we found it a bit expensive (63€ two ad, two children )but I think the place is being developed! But the announcement is in conformity so we paid in any case!

  • We had a great time in this exceptional place. The setting is beautiful and perfect to disconnect. Thanks again to Isabelle for her welcome. We will come back without hesitation!

    Thank you for everything!

  • Very beautiful and atypical place. Superb sunset. We would have liked to have the history of the fort at the time of our visit.

  • A magical place! Alone in the world in a fort facing the sea, the island of Aix and the fort Boyard!!!!!! Wild camping in complete safety! Really great. A little expensive to six for a place without drinking water and solar shower. But really wonderful!
