Description

However, access is a little tricky and requires a slightly adventurous attitude: 6 km of unpaved track accessible to all vehicles from the village and 1 km of steep track to reach the house. For the latter, it's best to have a tall car or a small 4*4. Alternatively, we can arrange for your equipment to be transported to and from the house.

The setting

Unobstructed mountain views. Two hectares of land, on flat grassy terraces surrounded by Scots pine. Quiet, no houses in sight. Birds, deer and roe deer if you wish...

The spots

In this ad, you rent the yurt with sleeping accommodation included.
This option is ideal for a couple or a family.
The yurt can accommodate up to 6 people.

The sanitary facilities

Outside, we still don't have any real sanitary facilities. We're working on it.
For the moment, there's a cold water supply that heats up in the pipe during the day.
We have bags of solar showers on loan.
A dry toilet outside.
For greater comfort, we suggest you use our bathroom, which is a real beauty...

The amenities

A kitchen hut is available with a gas hob and a few cooking utensils. The basics can be supplied if required. Gas lamps are also available. A small supplement will be charged for these services.
A large wooden table is set up outside.
There is no electricity on site, but you can use a plug in the house if you need it.
We have a satellite internet connection in the house, which you can use in moderation as we are limited.
If necessary, you can also use the washing machine in the house for a fee.

The activities

On site, you can relax in the shade of a pine tree in a hammock, watch your children jump on the trampoline, help in the vegetable garden if you like, or of course take a walk that will take you to the Col de Tende on the Italian border.
Frédéric can take you on an in-depth tour of the Vallée des Merveilles.
The Musée des Merveilles is free of charge. And you can go canyoning, rafting, climbing, via ferrata, accrobranche, fishing, cool off in a river or at the village swimming pool. We can advise you on all these activities.

Rules

No precise rules. We love and respect our little piece of paradise and hope you'll enjoy it too.
However, we do ask you to be careful with the fire during severe droughts.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€6 / person)

On request, we can offer you a breakfast including tea, coffee, milk, fruit juice and toast with butter, home-made or local jams and honeys. And if we have the time, we'll even throw in a few homemade surprises.

We can serve dinners or lunches, or even aperitifs to order, using local produce.
