Situation
  • We would like to thank Aurelien for his warm welcome.

  • Aurélien made us very welcome in his home. It was nice to spend one last night of vacation on his property.

  • In a word: excellent! A rather large plot of land, in the countryside, flat, easy to access, trees on the edge, a little away from the houses, for us alone, at least out of season. We were in "personal autonomy", but we took water without any problem : Aurélien filled and carried our jerrycan. By small, pleasant, quiet paths, one can reach La Rigole on foot in a few seconds and walk peacefully for kilometers along this stream of water. Communication with our host was pleasant, before and during the stay, advice on walks and visits, an excellent location, a haven of peace and quiet, without being far from "civilization", situation corresponding perfectly to the description and our expectations. Our host was very warm, available, helpful, and at the same time "discreet": PERFECT! ;-) Before arriving at his place, we explored (among other things) the beautiful city of Carcassonne, took a cassoulet to go in a restaurant in Castelnaudary, delicious. Plus, we eat well in this beautiful region. View of the snow-covered Pyrenees and the Montagne Noire in the distance. It is with great pleasure that we will certainly return one day.
