  • Very nice stay, very good contact with Franck, beautiful place, we will come back!

  • No France but a Franck to welcome us in this magnificent property (where the castle is also a gite). We slept under the trees and by the river, lulled by the lapping of the water :)

Franck is a great host: he efficiently installed us despite a late arrival and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible (including a restaurant reservation at short notice).

We will be back with pleasure for a longer stay.

  • Very good stay in a bucolic setting.
A warm and friendly welcome on our arrival.
The site is in the heart of the Champenois vineyard. It is therefore the ideal place for a weekend to discover this beautiful land.

  • We spent a good evening in a friendly place and very friendly host.

  • Very nice setting and excellent welcome from Franck, always there to help you.

  • We had a great stay at this wonderful place! First we wanted to stay for only one night but the place was so beautiful and nice we decided to stay for snotter night! Very peacefull and quiet, the owners are super kind and provide great Champagne as well. We took the bus to Epernay for a lunch in the city. A very large supermarket is 15 min walk away. Everywhere Champagne and wineyards. Toilets and douche are simple but fine! We would like to come back another time and we will recommand this place to everyone!

  • A really nice stopover on the way home to Germany! We were lovingly welcomed, although we arrived later than planned. Everything was as described and we had a quiet night.
    Next time gladly longer!
    Thank you! Merci!

  • Great welcome, great land, in a beautiful village! I recommend!

  • Superb stop in a splendid setting. The ground is well flat, arranged and with the variation but one benefits nevertheless from the size and the style of the park of the small castle.
    Very good welcome. Perfect

  • Beautiful, unique, quiet place.

  • Nickel

  • Very good welcome from the owner.
Great space for the camping car. We will come back when we will be in the region. Only drawback, the mosquitoes, foresee the anti mosquito.

  • Pleasant welcome
    Very nice property
    Natural atmosphere
    Quiet nights
    Recommended stopover

  • After a surprising and disappointing welcome by the lady, the rest was up to the task.

  • Very very nice place and really nice People!
    Sure we will return!

  • very nice place to stay!

  • Very nice place where to land, beautiful surroundings, nice cold champagne on arrival! France was very helpful and welcoming! We appreciated a lot that we could speak English! ....just.... lots of mosquitos!

  • Super nice. And very welcoming hosts!

  • Excellent stay, beautiful landscape
    Frank was very helpfull

  • Very impressive spot. Helpful and friendly communication!

  • Welcome to Paradise, said Franc and it was! We had a amazing stay at Franc and Francis there place. Good champagne, great location, sanitair is good but simpel. Would we stay here again? Absolutly!

  • Good stay at France... that we did not see .... Her husband welcomed us very well and was very friendly. Everything was as described.

  • Nice place! Nice welcome

  • Beautiful setting. Very sympathetic reception

  • We had an excellent and relaxed stay at Franc and Francine among the vineyards and many (champagne) wineries in the Champagne region. A nice large spot at a small river overlooking their domaine. Indepent toilets and hot shower (only small point of attention would be to provide toiletpaper). A cafe-restaurant, bakery and big supermarche at walking distance. Recommended!

  • Beautiful setting to recommend!

  • Very quiet campsite , in the green and close to Epernay. Sanitary facilities are clean and well taken care of. We will definitely come back!

  • Everything was perfect! The welcome, the place, the kindness of our hosts. To do again ;-)

  • A jewel in the small town of Pierry.
    Very good reception.
    Very large park with trees.
    Quiet night.
    Only positive things.

  • It is a nice place for a stopover. Unfortunately, the booked champagne tasting is cancelled, as a replacement was offered a bottle for 12 €. Too bad, was ansich a point for choosing the place. No Sat reception on the well shaded place.

  • Very nice hosts
    Beautiful pitch

  • We were very well received by Franck, and were given a tour of the owner and his fascinating history. Calm and serenity reign on this place. Clean shower room and toilet. Nothing to say, go there with your eyes closed!

  • T.good reception

  • Excellent stay in this very beautiful place that I recommend. Simple and friendly welcome. For the lovers of calm and greenery, it is the ideal site.
A small drawback on the sanitary side. A little bit of paint and some accessories to hang and put your stuff would be welcome.

  • Very pleasant and warm welcome and very beautiful place, very quiet

  • A weekend "in the green" in the middle of January. The welcome was very pleasant, to start the stay well and we parked on the gravel, which was much more practical given the weather (the region was very wet in this month of January) not to dirty (too much :) ) the van, the children, but a little far from the river etc... Impossible to do better in this season. Toilets, water, electricity, shower, everything was there to enjoy a quiet moment (and curfew obliges even near the entrance we were not disturbed by the noise :) ). Short stay but very pleasant in a region that is really worth a look. Thanks a lot!

  • Franck was there to welcome us, explained everything and help us setting up the camper. He was very friendly and welcoming, even though we had submitted our request to stay very late in the afternoon. We had a very nice, quiet stay, late in the season, enjoyed some of the local Champagne, got the best croissants ever from the local boulangerie and went for some of artisan chocolates from Thibaut. We had a wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings. Loved it!

  • The setting is beautiful and quiet. The reception is friendly. It would be nice to put a dry toilet nearby because the sanitary facilities are far away. Our stay was short but pleasant and relaxing.

  • Disappointed...at our arrival at 5pm, we were told that it was not possible to receive us because the site was used for a wedding, while I had a multitude of exchanges with the owner...Fortunately, her husband (annoyed) found us a solution at the municipal campsite...another setting but a warm welcome!
Difficult to judge the overall experience :-( ... one thing is sure, it is that the communication is to be reviewed
    Arnaud.

  • This really is a very nice place to stay. Here you can find everything you need, and even more; tasting and buying champagne! This is unique!

  • We stopped here just for one night. Super quiet, good reception, nothing to say

  • Arriving at a centuries old beautiful villa with the smell of freshly processed grapes as it was picking season. We were greeted by a most friendly gentleman named Franc and showed us the spot with a beautiful view of the villa. Once settled Franc offered us a fantastic bottle of champagne for the evening. The spot is also surrounded by many champagne houses, so there is enough to see and taste in the neighbourhood! We would definitly come back when we are close by!

  • Friendly welcome from the owner of the place. The place reserved for the gampeurs is pleasant. As for the sanitary facilities, two showers would be nice. A sink to wash dishes with hot water is also missing. And an error of schedule (of the owner) prevented us from making the tasting of champagne, too bad!

  • The priory site is beautiful. We were able to camp in the quiet and hear the birds singing and a fox yelping in the morning. We were welcomed by Frank who immediately directed us to a champagne tasting. We will be back!

  • It is no 29 through green gates, not the Chateau Peirry which is no 45, once we found it our stay was lovely

  • Extraordinary !!!
Everything starts with the welcome of the owner and what a welcome! Presentation of the site in its totality, location, sanitary facilities, etc.... the climate of confidence is installed in a few seconds,
And what a place, it's simply magnificent, everything is there, it's very clean, we spent a really nice time there, we note the address for the next time !!!

  • A recommander

  • Green setting with the little stream as a bonus: no impression of living in the city!

  • Good welcome, beautiful peaceful setting and very helpful owner!
Small downside, pleasant bivouac area but made very noisy by the presence in the evening, and a good part of the night, of people renting the castle for an event (which should not be the case every day, bad luck for us who stayed there only one night).

  • We stayed twice with France. Once on the way down to Annecy and again on the way back. On both occasions, we were welcomed and shown around. The camping pitch is big and well kept and level with electricity. The toilets and water tap are approximately 75m away to the side of the Chateaux. Épernay is a quick 5 minute drive away, with Le Clerc and dethcalon shops a short drive. 2 of my favourite shops.???? well worth a couple of nights stay with France to explore the beautiful Épernay area.
