Description

Whether you arrive on foot, by bike, on horseback or by motorcycle, come and spend a few nights with us, among the trees and the stars, in absolute calm.

The large Touareg tent of 24m2 gives a magnificent view of the greenhouse of La Toureille. It is located on a large wooden terrace, above the crops of organic fruits and vegetables, 100 meters from our house "l'Hermite".

It can comfortably accommodate 4 people, with real beds and an adjoining covered outdoor kitchen.

...and if you are 5, don't hesitate to contact me to add your little tent for a small fee of 7 euros.

The setting

A very preserved and wild middle mountain setting at 500 meters of altitude.

The farmhouse, called l'Hermite, is nestled at the end of a path in the heart of the Cevennes forest, only 500m from the small village of Mandagout, 10 minutes walk away (grocery store, coffee shop, pizza and barbecue evenings..)

In the surroundings:
Le Vigan is 15 minutes away by car with all its services and markets,
Numerous river baths at 15 minutes by car and a little swim at 10 minutes by foot, hiking trails from the tent;

The Mont Aigoual is 35 min. away by car with its weather observatory and its panoramic view, the Mediterranean Sea at 1h20, the Viaduct of Millau at 1h, the Gorges de l'Hérault at 25 min. and the Cirque de Navacelles at 35 min. ....

The sanitary facilities

Independent shower and washing up area with drinking and hot water at 70 meters from the tent.
Independent dry toilets at 50 meters from the tent.

The amenities

Sheltered outdoor kitchen equipped with double gas and refrigerator, plates, cutlery, pans, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, tea etc..
Garden table with chairs and hammock.
One double bed and 2 single beds in the tent with comforters, pillows and sheets.
Electricity, lights and garland.
Internet is available near the house.

The activities

Outdoor activities, climbing, hiking, swimming in the river... Visit the UNESCO Causses Cévennes heritage.

Rules

Arrival time from 4pm.
Departure time at the latest 11 am.

No campfires because of the commune's prohibition and the risk of fire.

Animals are accepted.
We have cats, a very nice dog and chickens.

For children under 4 years old: beware of the mountainous terrain.
