We are happy to provide add ons like breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For families we can provide folding cribs, toddler beds and children's toys, books and drawing materials.
Home has a few stairs.

The setting

Property backs on to beautiful provincial parkland with streams and a river walk.
5-10 mins walk to restaurants, bars, cute little stores, galleries, cinema and gyms.
15 mins walk to golf club with Irish bar.
20 mins drive to Calgary, 30 minutes to Canmore with its Nordic sports centre and one hour to Banff/ Lake Louise.
Other beautiful small towns near by like Bragg Creek.
Great views, quiet, relaxed and friendly.

The spots

Standard caravans and motorhomes can be parked at the front of the property between May and November.
Guests can stay in a tent they bring in the back garden of the home plus opportunity to stay in the house sometimes.
Giant motorhomes and trailers will not fit this location.

The sanitary facilities

The house has a share bathroom with bath, over bath shower, hot water, washbasin, toilet.
This is fully available but guests need to be aware that this is a quiet home.

Internet, large well resourced indoor kitchen, outdoor gas BBQ with ring, cedar shack, firepit with recycled tire seating, guests can also use lounge & dining room, organic fruit and veggie garden.

The activities

Calgary Zoo, heritage park historical visitors centre, hangar aeroplane museum, sports hall of fame, jubilee theatre, Drumheller dinosaur museum, Elbow Falls in Bragg Creek, two beautiful provincial parks close by.
Great for kayaking, cycling and motorcycling.
Cochrane itself also has a brewery with a pub and a distillery which offers tours.
Local farmers markets.

This home is non-smoking, no drugs, no late night partying and no pets please.
This is a quiet share home.
Home owners enjoy a glass of wine and a beer.
Guests must clean up after themselves especially kitchen and bathroom.

We have lots of solar lamps you could borrow around garden.
We are also happy to lend stuff from the house.
Cedar shack suitable for two guests also available.
