Our garden in the countryside, only 5 minutes from the city center by car, a quarter of an hour by bike on roads with little traffic or bike paths, awaits you for a quiet relaxation in a green setting, where the sounds are those of nature, especially our friends the cicadas in summer.
For people without vehicles, there are unfortunately few buses but we can also transport them to the two Avignon train stations (center and TGV).

The setting

Large flat land of 4800 m², on which we try to preserve the nature with a part in reasoned mowing for the insects, installations for the birds and where you will be able to perhaps see hedgehogs, cicadas, turtle-doves, titmice but more surely cats which live in freedom.
Trees have been newly planted but you will have to wait for their shade.
You have at your disposal a natural pergola in the course of vegetation, under which there is a table and chairs.
There is also a lounge area with a coffee table and armchairs to enjoy a drink.
A library in free exchange is also proposed to you.

The spots

Sun and shade depending on the time of day.
5 pitches.
10m max for CC's and reverse exit for larger ones.

The sanitary facilities

We can propose you tourist circuits.

Other things

We have domestic dogs and cats and cats in the wild, the latter fearful do not usually approach.
It is forbidden to make fire on the property, but a barbecue is at your disposal in a secure place.
If you want to cook, we suggest you do so in the summer kitchen.
Smokers are asked to be careful and not to throw their cigarette butts on the ground, pots are available for this purpose.

Land & setting
  • Very nice experience with very friendly people.
    To do again without hesitation

  • Very good welcome at Dominique and Jacques, nice atmosphere, very nice place to visit Avignon, to recommend

  • Hello, I am a traveler on a bicycle. pleasant place, well equipped, solar toilet dryer-shower, kitchenette well equipped for camper and friendly. the welcome is warm and Dominic informs on tourism in thing is the dogs of dominique who are pilferers and especially not to leave food lying around, I spent a stressed evening, I could not find a bag where I had all my meal material, they had hidden it under a caravan, well I found it and left serenely. if I go back to Avignon it's a place where I would go back and I recommend it to you later Anne-Marie

  • A big thank you to Dominique! I spent 2 weeks during the festival and the welcome was great. The area is very nice and the owners are very accommodating, I highly recommend it!

  • A small bucolic place at two pedal strokes from the center of Avignon. Ideal for the festival in July. We really appreciated the welcome of Dominique who was very attentive to our needs! We will not hesitate to renew the experience for a next edition.

  • Both Dominique and Jacques welcomed us and helped us with everything in an extraordinary way! We tried to take the navette with our boxer, to go to Avignon, and a muzzle is mandatory. There is a restaurant next door where we dined very well. Water, electricity, wifi, dry toilets, showers... it is very good, to empty there is a campsite at 6km. Highly recommended.

  • very nice!

  • Nice and quiet location, and the facilities (solar shower, dry toilets, etc.) are pleasant to use and fun. Very good welcome.

  • Very well located, pleasant reception. We enjoyed this stay.

  • Very nice place to visit Avignon
Dominique is very welcoming and advises us on activities to do.
    I recommend him.
I will come back for my next vacation in the region

  • Perfect location to enjoy the Avignon festival. Some difficulties with the toilets, maybe because we were quite numerous on the site

  • It was a very nice stay with Dominique and his wife. The site is very large and has a bit of hippie charm. There is a fully equipped kitchen, solar shower and dry toilet .

  • Nothing to say. Dominique was very welcoming and jovial.
We spent a very good night. An ideal and really quiet place.

  • Thank you both for your welcome!

  • Dominique was great. The land is very well placed to visit Avignon and the very good advice made our life pleasant. A good moment of sharing

  • Great for visiting Avignon

  • Dominique and her husband are welcoming and friendly.
Excellent stay and superb human meeting.

  • We were very well received by Dominique and Jacques Marie. They are very pleasant hosts. I recommend them.

  • Quiet and well equipped. We were very well received, I recommend!

  • I love the camping place of Dominique. He is a such nice person. The camping place itself has also good location, you can easily reach it by bike. Though it was tough for me walking there, cause I had a huge 20 kg backpack and injured leg. Therefore Dominique brought me the next day to the city centre by his car. Thanks a lot for that! Gladly again! I definately recommend!

  • Very nice and warm welcome by Jacques-Marie who taught us the life of the cicada. Simple and ecological way of life. Some campers were there at the same time as us; all friendly and respectful. Thanks a lot!

  • Very nice welcome from Dominique and her husband. They gave us excellent advice during our visits.
Flat land with everything necessary to accommodate tents and motor homes near Avignon, carefully maintained.

  • Dominique and her husband are very friendly. Enough space to place our tent. There are dry toilets, drinking water, a solar shower and an outdoor kitchen with a fridge. It's a charming and quiet campsite!

  • Dominique is very kind and interesting, and her land has a lot of charm. It was a real pleasure to stay a few days with her.

  • Very welcoming and available host.
Ideally located to visit Avignon by bike. I recommend it.
We would have just liked a little more shade because it was very hot.

  • Warm welcome from Dominique. The hitch ... too little shade, a shower was not working, the dry toilet almost full (beware of hygiene for fragile people), the pool is not in use and this for a long time in view of the previous comments. The place is ideal just for sleeping.

  • A nice and original setting.
Dominique and her husband are very welcoming.
A downside on the swimming pool which is presented but which was out of order when we came.
Small plus for the fridge which was very practical!

  • Thank you Dominique for your comment it's a pleasure.
Thank you also for your warm welcome and your kindness.
A place where we feel like at home.
    I highly recommend it.

  • 15/20 minutes by bike from Avignon, nice land and welcome

  • We were welcomed, VERY well, by Madame. It is a rustic space but very pleasant and original. The fridge is welcome. In short, we are happy to have spent a night there.

  • We had a great time at Dominique and her husband's. This step at their place is part of the success of our trip. It is exactly these meetings that we appreciate. We hope to see you again on another trip. Maguy, Coraline, Denis

  • Very nice and warm welcome.

  • Very nice place, friendly people and nice garden

  • It was a very pleasant stay, away from the noise and bustle of the festival, and a warm welcome!

  • First stay full of good surprises, with a very quiet space for everyone, a very warm welcome and care, while being discreet. Very nice plot of land, very practical and quick to reach Avignon Intra-muros by bike with or without the river shuttle. An address that I keep for a next stay.

  • In Avignon, for a night at Dominique and her husband's place before enjoying a city tour on the excellent advice of our hosts: bus trip, visit plan for the walled city, salad bar...
    Ready to come back.
    Thank you for your time.

  • We were very uncomfortable. It's a 45-50 min. walk to Avignon. A dry toilet for everyone. The solar showers do not work. It's very dirty. There is no real drinking water.

  • Very good welcome, very friendly hosts and concerned about our comfort. Flat and clean land with electricity and water. I recommend it.

  • Dominique and her husband are very nice and warm!

  • Very well received. Too bad there were problems with the water supply. Shower yes but rather reserved for campers. Swimming pool unusable for the whole summer. Good relations with Dominique and her husband. Ideal and quiet location at 10 mn from Avignon by bike. To Dominique and her husband: thank you for your welcome and availability.

  • This place was not really our cup of tea. We were attracted by the many enthusiastic reviews. The pitch is indeed spacious, surrounded by greenery and you can hardly hear the sound of cars. But don't expect too much from the pergola, the lounge and the library. The pool is very dirty and the only toilet had to be emptied. Above all, we missed a homely atmosphere or personal approach. This pitch is an hour's walk from Avignon (the location on the map is not correct). There is better camping closer to the city, in my opinion.

  • We had a great stay in our tent at Dominique's place! Communication was quick and easy, it was a pleasure to meet her and she was so helpful and even provided us with a city map. The site is located just outside of the city center and at the same time right in the countryside. We slept to the sound of the criquets!

  • This is a very quiet, natural place with very nice hosts! No artificial light disturbs the nightly idyll! The waste separation is exemplary - much better than on campsites. By bike it is a mostly quiet 15-minute ride to the center of Avignon, but also Villeneuve-les-Avignon offers itself for an excursion by bike.
It's really rare to find a place so close to the city in such a quiet location - I'd like to see some of those in other cities! I like to come again!
    For self-sufficient camper absolute top!

  • It was a real pleasure to stay here for two nights! Dominique is welcoming, full of good advice and good intentions, as well as listening, to be able to improve the place according to everyone's needs.

Thanks again, and see you soon.

  • Ideal location far from the hustle and bustle of the city and very welcoming hosts.
Facilities are a bit basic for the simple campers (in tents) that we were, but it's enough and it's also what makes the charm of the site!

Thanks again to Dominique and her husband for their warm welcome and their advice.
We will not fail to recommend you to our camper friends.

  • Our stay was short but great time. A friendly evening around a drink to get to know each other. Great!

  • We had a very warm welcome and Dominique and Jacques Marie gave us good advice and offered their help naturally. We shared very convivial moments.I would come back...

  • very nice host with a small aperitif
very quiet and close to the parking lots.
    ideal location.
    to recommend !!!

  • Great experience! Quiet location in the middle of greenery! Ideal for a bike ride around Avignon, close to the free river shuttle! Thanks again, we had a great time!

  • Excellent welcome, very friendly and helpful hosts, beautiful and quiet environment, highly recommended
