Wenn Ihr ein paar Tage bei uns verbringen wollt, so heißen wir euch herzlich willkommen.
Ihr werdet ein familiäres Umfeld antreffen.
Der Stellplatz liegt im Hof direkt zwischen Wohnhaus und Scheune. Der Hof ist teilweise mit Kopfsteinpflaster gepflastert hat aber einen Hauptteil, der geschottert ist.
Strom und Wasser für die Grundversorgung sind, bei normalem Verbrauch, inklusive.
Wie auch unser WLan.
Wir freuen uns über autarke Gäste, aber wenn nötig kann unsere Gästetoilette und unsere Gästedusche (gegen eine Gebühr von 1€ pro Duschgang) benutzt werden. Diese liegen in unserem privaten Wohnbereich.
Grauwasser kann ebenfalls entsorgt werden.
Unser Grundstück ist recht groß und teilt sich auf in Garten, Hühnergehege, Hof und Teich.
Wir befinden uns hier in sehr ländlichem Raum, weit genug weg von der Großstadt und trotzdem in einer Stunde in Hessen, Bayern, Heidelberg, Frankfurt oder Würzburg!
Unser Teich hat natürlich auch Mitbewohner, die gerne zwischen April und Juni ihre Konzerte geben. Daher können Ohrenstöpsel in dieser Zeit hilfreich sein.
Einen Hahn haben wir nicht mehr. Trotzdem hört man natürlich Geräusche aus der Hühnerecke!
In direkter Nachbarschaft gibt es Huskys die gerne zwei bis drei Mal am Tag durch heulen ihre Familienbande stärken.
Wir sind kein Hotelbetrieb, sondern eine ganz gewöhnliche Familie die den Campinggedanken unterstützt und mittragen möchte.
Wir leben da wo ihr übernachtet und gehen auch wie gewohnt unserem Alltag nach, so wie wir das für richtig erachten und es uns gefällt. Wir versuchen Euch zu unterstützen und alles so angenehm zu gestalten wie möglich. Zudem sind wir ständig am räumen und renovieren um unser Haus schöner zu machen. Wir leben nicht im Möbelkatalog, sondern ganz real.
Wir erwarten, dass unser Stellplatz so verlassen wird, wie er vorgefunden wurde.
Wir stellen unseren Gästen einen Ort zum Verweilen zur Verfügung, unsere Gastfreundschaft, wir bieten unsere Hilfe an und unsere Gesellschaft, wenn dies gewünscht wird, allerdings betreiben wir keinen Campingplatz!

Our property is quite large and is divided into a garden, a chicken pen, a yard and a pond.
We are in a very rural area, far enough away from the big cities and still in one hour in Hesse, Bavaria, Heidelberg, Frankfurt or Würzburg!
Of course, our pond also has residents (frogs) who like to give their concert between April and June. Therefore, earplugs can be helpful during this time.
Our rooster loves dawn, and welcomes the new day at about 6 a.m every morning.
We are not a hotel and our home does not look like a furniture catalog. We live where you stay and go about our everyday life as usual, as we find it right and we like it. In addition, we are constantly on the move and renovate to make our house more beautiful.
We wish that our pitch will be left as it was found.
We provide our guests a place to stay, our hospitality, we offer our help and our company if so desired.

The setting

We have a gravelled courtyard and a small area about 50sqm of lawn (2 tents of size about 3x5m are feasible) that can be used by our guests.
The areas are quite flat but not smooth/straight everywhere.

The sanitary facilities

We offer shared use of our guest toilet and guest shower (here we take an extra fee of 1€ per shower).
Our sink in this sanitary facility is not suitable for washing dishes, so please refrain from doing so. However, we can offer a place where you can wash your dishes if necessary.

Three times a week a baker's car from the local bakery stops directly in front of the house. Here you can buy not only regional bread and rolls but also cakes and pasta!
We have chickens, cats and a dog running freely on the premises.
Please do not feed the animals independently!

Also and for the same price, we can offer, in a similar form, an evening meal, but only if you arrive before 12 noon.

If you wish we can also serve a similar supper.

  • We traveled as a couple with baby (11 months) and had no previous experience with "Homecamper" as a portal. With Lenya and her family, the first "booking" but was immediately a stroke of luck: a very sympathetic host family, everything for us important available (electricity, water, shower / toilet in the house) and very much for our daughter to discover (chickens, bathing pond, dear animals)... We spent the night in the roof tent, space for the bus was sufficient. And in addition really very nice hosts.

In the house there is a guest toilet and shower. If the weather is suitable, the swimming pond can be used. Only a few steps from the house and you are in the open field, meadows or nearby forest. The central location of Mudau in the middle of the Odenwald allows besides hiking and biking but also wonderful trips to the beautiful half-timbered towns around. It's a pity that I could stay only one night - here could be used quite a few days with various activities, from which you can recover wonderfully in absolutely quiet nights. This hospitable house with its lovely residents is really unreservedly recommended!
