Description

We can accommodate vans, of course. Traditional campers with tents and stoves too.
There's an outdoor kitchen next to the bowling green. Gas stove. A fridge. A solar shower, hot if it's sunny. Warm otherwise. Dry toilets a little apart.
Further up is the large swimming pool. Big and deep. Children who can't swim are not welcome. The pool is a shared area.
We often play music. My gigi, my companion, went to heaven not long ago. She was a musician. I'm an IT specialist, but I still take part in the music because I sing.
Just a point of clarification: the place is a place of tranquillity and rest. It's more a place for adults than for children.
.
Also important: the path is difficult for long campers or large caravans. Tell us more

The setting

It's really very quiet.
A good quality of silence, especially when the cicadas stop.
There's an oak grove. A pine forest. A field.
The pool is not overlooked, with a view that stretches for 70 km.

The spots

Three possible locations, all in the shade.
Ah... Important: A big, long motorhome.... may have trouble getting up the path.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets and outdoor shower; hot when sunny.

The amenities

Wifi Internet. But not everywhere.
Electricity in 12 volts obtained from solar panels for lighting, to recharge telephone and maybe also to recharge your electric bikes. Possibly 220 EDF.
An outdoor kitchen. see photo. A barbecue? Yes. But we don't use it in summer because of the fire hazard, of course.
Some kitchen equipment on site.

The activities

Take a dip in the pool.
A beautiful, unoverlooked pool with a magnificent view.
Petanque.
Doing nothing is not bad either.

Other things

This year we would like to welcome bicycles. VAE or simple bikes. The ones that do the Luberon tour and that, leaving Cavaillon, pass in front of our house at kilometer 50.

Rules

No barbecues.
Make sure you put out your cigarettes.

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€15 / person)

Coffee or tea - Croissant with fruit juice. Egg of the day.
The tipy is also extra. 15 euros. It's 12 m2.

  • The place have a lot of potencial but is completely abandoned, it's looked like no one used it since last summer.

Dirty kitchen, dirty bathroom, dirty seats.

However the location is nice, is very close nice town and Serge was nice.

  • Better organization and light cleaning of the outdoor kitchen would be appreciated. Nice pool and quiet night. Pleasant owner.

  • Very welcoming and friendly hosts in a very nice setting, I recommend!!!

  • A small stay as we like them: quiet, with all the conveniences, well thought out and a well appreciated access to the pool! Our hosts welcomed us with kindness. We recommend this charming and original place where the arts are expressed at will!

  • Serge is a very welcoming and available host. We had a very pleasant stay

  • When I arrived at Serge's house and saw the setting, it reminded me of my childhood at the family pond, without the pond ????. Very good reception, stay in the tipi disproportionate for two, what to spread out in this framework 200/100 nature.

  • We had a really good time on the property of Serge! We could pitch our tent in the shadow, all the equipment for cooking, and washing was available. In addition, we took advantage of the nice swimming pool, and had some good recommendations on where to go and what to see/do in the area. Thank you again!

  • Great stay,
Serge and Gigi are very nice people!
The setting and infrastructure (outdoor kitchen under a large carport, beautiful pool ...) are very pleasant.
    I highly recommend it!
    See you soon

  • It all depends on what you want here. If you are looking for a simple place to sleep in camping mode then this will suit you perfectly. If you are looking for conviviality, this is not the right place, cold reception, equipment in bad condition...the fridge is a tube! (the one at the back is to be pitied) ... the gas works badly, the shower is cold... you can also hear the noise of the road next door. It's not that it's a horrible site, it's just that compared to the description it's not quite the truth....

  • Great stay and good time in a beautiful environment.

  • Serge, kindly offered us his camping car for the night
Quiet site with a swimming pool and everything you need for a good stay

  • Nice place, alternative environment, a pleasant stay but slightly disturbed by the nearby road.
All the infrastructure is perfect and the swimming pool a real treat!
    Thanks to Serge and Gislaine.

  • We were so happy that we went back the following week for 2 more nights. See you next year!

  • Thank you Serge and Gigi for the welcome and all the advice!
It was a very pleasant stay.
    We highly recommend it!

  • A very good plan.

  • Nice place, well equipped. Great pool

  • A warm welcome! Gigi, Sergio (and Dom) are artists to know????. A great meeting in a relaxing place, ecological and based on sharing ... in accordance with what we are. We will come back for sure! Thanks to you all.

  • Very friendly and helpful reception - great outdoor kitchen - the smell of the herbs around the pitch is delightful

  • Three nights at Serge's place, top!
Nb : bring your own kitchen utensils if you want to use the kitchen block.

  • oh la la
Gigi and serge 2 exceptional people!!!!!!With beautiful values that make share! It is a magnificent and magic place a true small paradise on earth, we recommend them strongly!
Really thank you to gigi and serge....
we will not fail to return to find you it is on !!!!
    SEE YOU SOON AT ....

  • Serge and Gigi are very welcoming, quiet and restful place. The small plus, the swimming pool and the concert. The breakfast is delicious. I recommend

  • Quiet site with a very attentive host. The infrastructures on the spot are new and at the top. The wooden shelter with the camping table and its wooden summer kitchen saved our evening in front of this HUGE storm that roared for 3 hours.

  • Very warm welcome from serges and Ghislaine who knew how to put us at ease.
An idyllic setting with a magnificent view, a garden that breathes peace and calm.
An ideal place for a peaceful evening followed by a good night's sleep.
    Thank you again.

  • We really enjoyed staying two nights with Serge and his wife. The welcome was so warm that we shared a meal together, a beautiful summer evening with them. The place is charming, quiet and equipped with all the necessary comforts.

  • BIEN

  • I recommend it. Charming place.

I didn't intend to write a review, but since I read your text after our visit, I'm doing it anyway.

You have to be honest and you have to tell the truth. It is not the language barrier that is the problem. It was you who did not read my first question correctly (Request # 102361: '[...] and we will like to spend a few days at your place in your garden. Is it possible?') And who had not communicated well (Reservation # 102455: 'Oops ... Would you like to stay 3 days? It's not easy because we have other resa on Airbnb and swimmy side. 2 days would be fine but 3 ... It is not possible'). So, 2 days was not a problem. It is true that afterwards, you warned us that you were going to have friends the second night to sleep. But you never mentioned that it was to make music with other musicians. The night of your musical evening we did not want to say much. It was only after one of the musicians came by where we had put our tent, that we asked him if it was for the whole night. I didn't say anything else. And besides, we didn't disturb your little party. We kept the distance. We respected the situation. But the respect was unfortunately not really mutual ...

The next day you were not there. I spoke with the lady who was there. I thanked for the quiet first night and said it was a shame the second night was not quiet. I said that we really enjoyed the music, but that it would be better to inform people in advance. I added that this was just a tip, not a criticism. The lady didn't really want to listen to me. When I told the lady that we had been very interested to join the party from a distance so that we could better listen to the music, she replied: 'You were not invited'. We were clearly not welcome. As you say yourself: 'Really not nice.'

So, if you had been clearer (the lady said 'This is what we do!') we probably hadn't spent the night with you. On the other hand, in your advertisement on the website you write: 'It's really very quiet. A good quality of silence especially when the cicadas stop. ' But that's not really the case when you're having a party ...

We have found that there are gamping hosts who really want to get to know other people and that there are others who just want to earn money (airbnb, swimmy, homecamper ...). It was clear from the start that you weren't interested in getting to know us. The welcome was not warm at all. When we arrived you had hardly said anything and every conversation stopped after a few minutes. It was not 'a nice atmosphere' as you say in your ad.

It's a shame. Because it really is a beautiful place. We didn't even intend to write a review. But since you have chosen to write a negative comment, we are obliged to react and tell the truth.

    Regards

    Serge and Barbara

  • Pleasant stay for the children as well as for the parents!

  • We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Serge's. A warm welcome, a very pleasant green location and a superb swimming pool to cool off in. We will return as soon as we have the opportunity and highly recommend this hotel.

  • A very nice place! Very pleasant hosts, in the middle of nature but with all the conveniences. Do not hesitate to take advantage of it.
