Description

A stop in the Perche countryside or a long stay, with family or friends: you are welcome!
CYCLISTS: PRECISION: We are at 5km (high) from the green way (or véloscénie) which passes IN the center of REMALARD (formerly Bellou sur Huisne) where there is a communal camping.
VAN: PRECISIONS: the parking lot where the van is parked is close to the road, so there is noise in the morning between 6am and 8.30am and in the evening between 5.30pm and 8.30pm. The rest of the time and at night it is very quiet.

The setting

On a plot of 2 ha, a small house near the pond and lots of little nooks and crannies to nestle your tent in the shade or in the meadow.
It is quiet, birds, wild animals and a small wood with big trees.

The spots

Pitches --- near the pond, in the shade, near the house and the pergola with its stone table.
---- near the kiwi, in the shade.
---- at the bottom of the meadow, away from the wild animals (owl, badger, deer, heron, etc..) sometimes pass by.
----- In the orchard: in the shade.
------ At the top of the meadow, it is possible to put several tents but there is little shade during the day.
The whole area is sloping but there are many flat spots.
For the van, the pitch is only on the parking lot.

There is an entrance to the house through the laundry room: sink and cold water, washing machine, clothes line.
There is a cold water pipe outside the house.

The access to the bathroom, the toilet, the kitchen and the fridge is through the kitchen.

The sanitary facilities

There is a separate, conventional toilet in the house, accessible during the day.
There is a dry, healthy and airy toilet near the pond, accessible 24 hours a day with a light at night (the toilet is emptied and disinfected every two days).
(The dry toilets can be privatized on demand if necessary).

The interior bathroom is classic with sink, bathtub and bidet, accessible by day through the house.
The laundry room with sink, cold water, washing machine and clothes line is accessible 24 hours a day.
Outside, there is a cold water tap to cool down if needed.

The amenities

Internet with a low speed (7Mb/s) in the house on the computer in the room accessible during the day.
The WIFI works inside the house but does not always work outside.
We receive 4G.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with dishes and induction pans.
It is possible to do your own cooking with our kitchen planning or to cook together to share a meal.
Electrical outlets inside the house.
Possibility to bring electricity on the campsite or under the pergola with an extension cord.

The cell phone can be left to charge easily.

The activities

On site, it is possible to make a tour of the property with a presentation of our permaculture association and the developments undertaken (if we are available).

In the vicinity are accessible by car many botanical gardens (garden of the small rock in Rémalard, garden François, garden of montperthuis, etc...) and visits of farms (Cabriole).
The GR 22 passes at 5 min by car.
An independent cycling circuit criss-crosses the valley: it is the Véloscénie between Nogent-le-Rotrou and Mortagne-en-Perche.
There is a large forest of 2400 ha nearby: in Bellême.
We are at 5 min drive from the house of the regional natural park of the Perche with its manor and its park where many tourist activities are recommended.
There is a tourist office in Rémalard.
In Rémalard, there is a bakery, a pharmacy, a tobacconist's shop, a delicatessen and a supermarket, all within a 5 minute drive.
The Boissy Maugis market, on Sunday mornings, presents local producers.
There is a golf course in Bellême, horseback riding everywhere and a spa (spa pom) at the Château de Villeray.

Other things

Pets are welcome if kept on a leash as we have free range chickens all over the property and a friendly and affectionate cat.
