Description

Simple stopover on a dairy farm near the Mont Saint-Michel (3km from the free shuttles or 20 minutes by bike), ideal for hikers (on foot, bike, donkey, etc).
We come here for the calm, the proximity with the Mont, the practical but very simple equipment (read below), the very natural environment adapted for the children.
Possibility of milk and eggs on the spot
Arrival and installation at the time you want and in autonomy, there are signs in the yard. I will come and see you.

The setting

Green environment near the farm buildings

The spots

Free space
Vans not too big if possible

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets and cold water point on the field (ferruginous water but drinkable)
For the moment, a shower cabin on the ground with bottles to fill with hot water at the sink of the dairy, it's a change of scenery, works very well and allows to quantify its consumption! Or to be heated in the sun.
Sink with hot water at disposal

The amenities

Common room/rain barrel with table and chairs and electricity (no problem to charge phones for example) next to an old bread oven.
Small barbecue and wood at disposal, kettle.
For the rest, campers must bring their own equipment.

The activities

In Beauvoir : bar-tobacco shop, bakery offering sandwiches, restaurants
In Pontorson : grocery store and carrefour market, market on Wednesday
Possibility to leave the bags at the farm during the visit of the Mont

Other things

No use of the home kitchen

Rules

We trust you to sort out the waste and respect the other campers.

  • Warm welcome, in the greenery and close to the farm. Hosts who respect their animals and it's a pleasure to see cows in the meadows and who eat good quality hay. Passionate farmers who deserve that we stop there.

  • We stood on the edge of a huge meadow in the shade. Absolutely perfect for nature and peace seekers. By bike we were quickly at Mt. St. Michel, a special experience. Thank you for the hospitality!

  • Nice meetings at Anne's. The pleasure of rediscovering raw cow's milk for breakfast. The calmness and simplicity of the stay, suitable for anyone who likes authenticity.

  • Ideal for hikers (we were on bikes) concerned about their environmental impact.
Farm located a few miles from Mont-Saint-Michel, in a field, in a quiet area.

  • In spite of the storm and the rain which punctuated the night under the tent, we spent a pleasant stay on the ground beside the dairy. Anne and her companion are welcoming and caring. For a first experience in Home Camper, it was a success! Thank you Anne !

  • We spend beautiful 2 days in this place.
We like cows, so this homecamper was perfect for us.

    Host was really accommodating.
He told to us a lot of advices for visited Mont Saint Michel.

  • Good welcome from our hosts who are very attentive to their campers. We didn't miss anything. A stay in the middle of nature, refreshing and invigorating. Excellent geographical situation for the visit of the Mont Saint Michel and the Normandy countryside. Bike rental on site would be a plus. We are delighted with this rural experience.

  • Very good communication with Anne who is very flexible. We arrived late without any problems and left when we could. Dry toilets were impeccable and a nice sheltered place to put your stuff in case of rain. The place, 3km from the Mont, is just incredible.

  • What a wonderful place this one is! All in simplicity, without fuss but very comfortable...
    Authentic and adorable hosts...
I will return there without hesitation...
    Thanks to Anne and Benoît

  • Great welcome, great setting, we recommend for nature lovers and degrowth!

  • Great stay.
    Great place, very welcoming host.
    It was great

  • We camped 2 nights in a van with the kids at Anne's house. Anne and her husband are very welcoming. The farm is beautiful and for the kids, the farm with the cows, chickens and the goat is great. We were able to see the milking of the cows as well. From the farm, in 5 minutes by bike, there is a great view on the Mont St Michel and in 20 minutes, we are at the Mont St Michel! Thank you Anne for this great moment!

  • We had a very nice stay at the farm. Very close to the Mt St Michel, on a large and quiet ground with the local of the bread oven for the conveniences. The children had a beautiful visit commented during the milking of the cows, the organic milk is excellent nature. A great asset for an instructive vacation. Thanks to Anne for the warm welcome, we highly recommend this address!

  • Very good experience, everything was perfect I recommend it.

  • A very nice place, quiet, in connection with nature
Anne and her husband are adorable
We could even attend the milking of cows!
Very good starting point to visit the Mont St Michel

  • A 2 night stay at Anne's.
A large space that allows everyone to have its privacy.
A new experience in the heart of a farm with the discovery of the solar shower and the dry toilets which offer atypical and very pleasant moments
    Beautiful meeting

  • It is a very quiet place, with basic but correct facilities. The property is very friendly and they told us how to go by bike from the farm to Mont Saint Michel. That bike ride next to the river watching Mont is impressive.

  • Very good welcome from Anne and Benoit, who are very friendly and accommodating! We were delighted to be able to attend the milking and taste the delicious milk! A big thank you :)

  • Great! Great welcome! Person who listens

  • Thank you for this country welcome.
We appreciated the setting, the simplicity of the place.
    We were very well received.
The shower under the stars with a beautiful red moon is just unforgettable.
    Simply thank you.

  • Ideally situated to visit the Mont on foot; a welcome at the top with a special mention to Sidonie for the visit of the farm to Margot (shhh! we will not say where is the secret passage :-)). We will return there with great pleasure!

  • Stopover in accordance with the description.
Quiet place in the nature close to the mont st Michel
Pascal was very sympathetic and ensured the absence of Anne. MICHEL

  • A very good time spent at your place, a really perfect welcome by Pascal whom we thank enormously.
The children were delighted as were we.
We look forward to coming back.

  • Very kindly welcomed by Pascal, the place is vast, the basic equipment useful. Very well signposted for an autonomous arrival. There were five or six other tents in addition to ours, and we didn't get in each other's way. Close to the Mont Saint Michel, we started here our tour of Brittany with pleasure!

  • A wonderful place to rest before and after the hustle and bustle of Mont Saint-Michels.
We were warmly welcomed and provided with info by Pascal.

  • Excellent welcome, very friendly host, we spent 2 nights in a quiet place, I recommend !
Let yourself be tempted by the local perry, good tasting!
Thank you very much and see you soon!

  • Second time at Anne and her family's place and it was again a real pleasure! This time we stayed an extra day to visit the Mont-Saint-Michel. We were even able to test the new shower which is very "roots" (water bottles heated by the sun)
You can buy milk and eggs as well as bottles of cider, perry and beer
    See you soon!

  • Atypical location and setting, I particularly appreciated the outdoor shower.
My daughter was able to participate in the morning milking, she was delighted.

  • We had a great time! Top notch reception! Very simple but efficient.
Very good products of the farm and local. We keep the address.

  • Anne welcomed me warmly and with a big smile. She exceeded my expectations! Plot of land with lots of space and a shed to take shelter if needed. A nice place from where you can walk or bike to the shuttle easily.

  • Great welcome at Anne's place. Very large plot of land in a quiet area a few kilometers from Mont-Saint-Michel, and next to the farm's cows.

  • On the road with a bike and a tent, we had everything we needed. A shady spot, a wild shower and a dry toilet. And much more. The warmest hospitality, fresh organic milk from the farm, lots of space.

Thank you Benoît and Anne, see you soon!

  • We had a great night! The land is large, the facilities are simple as expected, but very practical, comfortable, and well maintained, and Anne and Benoît are very welcoming. The farm is ideally located, very close to the Mont Saint Michel but in a very quiet place.

  • Simply perfect

  • Excellent. Top notch setting. Perfect to visit the Mont Saint Michel by bike.

  • A beautiful farmhouse, warm and friendly hosts, basic facilities that will connect you to the authenticity and rusticity of the countryside.
We, for our part, all three of us, gave up showering and we could not consume the water provided. Drinkable, but very ferrous.
If these small details leave you perfectly indifferent, no doubt that your stay will be delicious.

  • Thank you for the friendly welcome from Pascal. The setting was exotic, calm and ideally located near the Mont Saint Michel. The pasture is lined with oak trees to protect you from the sun during the day and to pitch your tent.

  • My stay was perfect with Anne who is very welcoming, attentive and discreet. Her farm is a very restful place to stay after the Veloscenie from Paris.

  • Good stay in the middle of nature with very welcoming hosts and a magnificent view of the Mont at a few meters.

  • Very good welcome in this family!
Anne is available, very pleasant and makes you feel very comfortable. We had to stay 1 night, we stayed 3 nights, our daughter also loved to walk around the farm, to see the cows, the chickens and to make friends!
It's a perfect place to relax in the middle of nature, to recharge your batteries, just a few kilometers from Mont St Michel, easily accessible by bike!
Thank you for your welcome Anne, we highly recommend your home camper.

  • Anne is very friendly!
The setting is rural, in the middle of a farm with cows.
Quiet and restful place, very close to the mt st Michel! I recommend it!

  • Warm and friendly welcome, very well located. Thanks again for the milk Anne!!! ????????

  • It was perfect. We really enjoyed it.

  • Thank you Anne for your welcome and your kindness. We were happy to take advantage of the calm of your farm to rediscover the beauty of the bay of Mont Saint Michel. We will come back again!

  • Great welcome, it's a real good plan near the Mont Saint Michel.
    Thank you.

  • Very good location, at the foot of Mont Saint Michel, good communication with Anne.

  • Superb and quiet place in a small corner of paradise. Anne and her husband are very nice people. Wishing to visit the Mont St Michel, Anne spontaneously offered to drop us off by car to the parking to take the shuttle. Thanks again for this kind attention :)

  • I stayed at Anne's place for 2 night and it was exactly as described and expected. I enjoyed my 'back-to-basic-'farmstay' in the big meadow with lots of space and privacy, the quietness and the outdoor 'bottle shower' with the black/white cows in the background. Anne is a friendly and very welcoming person, who explained a lot about the environment, how to get to the 'Mont' by bike, and even lended me some products I forgot to buy. Very much recommended!

  • Super friendly welcome from Anne and Benoît,
Super well placed for the Mont Saint Michel.
And in option discovery of the cows milking..thank you
