  • Just a short overnight stop before heading back to Brittany.
A special moment on the edge of the marsh and right next to the typical marsh village of Coulon.
Very warm welcome from the young lady at the counter. I'll keep this address in my little notebook of little paradises on earth.

  • We were looking for a quiet, friendly place to stay, and we found it at Manuel's.
Very welcoming, friendly, we loved it.

  • A very nice stopover in the Marais Poitevin, at the Embarcadère Cardinaud near Coulon, Manuel (our hotel) reserves a plot of lawn for 2/3 vans max at the very back of his parking lot, near the water, we were very well, it was nickel!
Just be careful: washbasins and toilets are only accessible from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (during pier opening hours).
A big thank you to Manuel for his hospitality, you can tell he loves his region ;)
We highly recommend a boat trip and the restaurant "Le Café de l'Escale" in Coulon (with a beautiful view over the canal).

  • A very warm welcome from Manuel and his team. The setting is splendid, we're pampered!
    A must-do boat trip!

  • We had a great time, in a superb location, Manuel came to introduce himself and we were able to exchange. We'd love to do it again!

  • An exceptional welcome. Manuel's family (in the broadest sense of the word) takes great care of its guests. All services are thought out to make your stay, your night, your meal, your walk, your evening a success.
We had a peaceful and typical time. We'll be coming back to this haven of peace and humanity. Many thanks for this concept!

  • Just perfect, a magnificent setting. Our night was deducted from our boat trip with Lucas, a very friendly and professional young man. I strongly recommend

  • Thank you Manuel for your welcome, your kindness and your availability. The site is superb and the location perfect. I recommend it. Thank you for these times of exchange. Aurélie

  • Very nice stay!
Manual to the art of receiving. Very clear explanation.
We rented a kayak for a 4h ride and the next day it was bike for 36km!
    We will certainly return there.
    Thank you Manuel!

  • Nice location at the foot of the water, quiet and very pleasant place.

We were very well received by Manuel, we recommend this place.

  • We spent 2 nights in our van on the land provided by Manuel, on the waterfront under large trees at the entrance of the Marais Poitevin ... warm welcome and enchanting setting, we recommend this stop without hesitation!

  • A very nice place to visit the marsh. We were not able to meet Manuel on this busy day but we were very well received by the staff at the pier and advised on bike rental, boat tours etc.. The spot is very quiet at night and within walking distance of the small town of Coulon.

  • Nice parking area, quiet and well located. Too bad the restaurant next door is only open for lunch.

  • A welcoming host with a passion for the van.
A beautiful land by the water and boats.
I recommend to come by van to enjoy this setting and the warm welcome of Manuel :)

  • Extremely well located, on the edge of the Marais Poitevin, the site, very quiet at night, is very lively during the day because it is the place to discover the meanders of the marsh. Manuel's welcome, very warm and full of good advice, won us over right away. And the 23 euros spent for our night were deducted the next day from the boat rental. The fast-food restaurant at lunchtime was overrun and we had to wait a long time for it, but all in a good mood... The toilets also suffer from the affluence and are closed from 8 pm to 8:30 am, to know. We warmly recommend it !
