Description

Quiet bivouac site on the banks of the Meuse.

The setting

1.5 hectares of meadow and undergrowth located in front of the greenway bicycle path.
The plots reserved for the sheep are closed.
The place is quiet, wild. Nice view on the hills.
You will fall asleep in the calm, listening to the song of the owls!
You will camp in the newly planted high-stem orchard.

The spots

The terrain is flat, some areas are mowed, others are in a natural state.

With a little luck, if you are not noisy, you may see some beavers!

The sanitary facilities

You will bring your own water for drinking if needed. There is a water tap at 7-800m on the top of the village to eventually fill bottles.

The amenities

It is possible to make a fire for cooking, and to decorate the evening. Wood is available, to be collected on site. You will find a barbecue grill on site.


We can provide a 20l solar shower to rinse off after a good day of sport or swimming!

You can fish in Meuse, directly from the plots.
Nice hikes nearby.

We value the tranquility of the site and only accept discreet campers.

A good camper is a camper who leaves no trace of his passage!
No exuberant installations: tent, generator...here we bivouac

A lot of nice little features (fire place, seats made of raw wood, access to the river via a ladder cut in a trunk, solar shower corner, documentation available in a clever way,...) which testify that the owners are practitioners. I had the visit of Freddy and his girlfriend who are very nice :-) and discreet. In short, I will come back !!! :-)

  • Lovely camping spot near the water. You have to walk a few hundred meters from the car, but there is a small cart to transport your stuff. Communication with Freddy was very clear and easy. Swimming in la Meuse is great, there's not much current and the water is not too cold. Enjoyed the place, would definitely recommend!

  • Great stay from A to Z, from welcome to departure. Claire and Freddy are very kind and generous hosts, with a real sense of welcome. We appreciated their open-mindedness and the beautiful setting in which they welcomed us.

    We will definitely come back to this haven of peace.
