Description

I propose our garden to come and put your tent in the beautiful season. We also accept small trucks like Vito, Trafic, T4 but not camping cars (too big).
Well located on the road between Bayonne and Peyrehorade, on the edge of the forest, quiet and close to nature.
Ideal for travelers looking for a quiet break.
Small bonus, you will always be the only campers on the site in order to guarantee you calm and intimacy, and to respect the sanitary requirements linked to Covid (washbasin area, outside shower and dry toilets just for you during your stay, everything is disinfected after each departure)
Natural pitch, dry toilets, drinking water on the site.
20 minutes from the ocean (seignosse hossegor capbreton or tarnos boucau) and direct access to hiking trails from the site. Bus and beach shuttle.

Dogs are not accepted even if we love them, but we have 3 cats and 2 hens...

The setting

Quiet location on the edge of the forest. Private pitch and sanitary facilities, you will always be the only campers in our garden!
Max capacity 2 to 4 persons traveling together (Covid measure)
The plot is not fenced, located at the end of a communal road with no close neighbors and there is a direct access to the forest.
We have 3 cats and 2 hens, all very sociable. (yes you can go and get the eggs in the henhouse if you want some in the morning)
Attention the hens wake up around 7.30/8.00 and sing...
We will be there to welcome you because we live there, then we will let you "live your life". If you wish and if we are available, we can exchange around a glass, but it is not an obligation, it is you who decide! We can be reached by phone in any case.

The spots

There is plenty of shade in the garden for 1 or 2 tents, for short stay, maximum 3 nights.
Easy access for car or van.
Possibility to install your hammock between 2 trees.
Attention the place for vans or small trucks, is not totally in the shade.

The sanitary facilities

Access to drinking water in the garden, small sanitary unit ideal for the morning toilet, or to do your laundry / dishes by hand. There are also independent dry toilets and a solar shower which is very "artisanal" but which has the merit of existing.
Make sure to use only natural and environmentally friendly products (vegetable garden nearby...) otherwise, we provide free marseille soap and adapted washing up liquid.

Outdoor solar shower (warm water if sunny)
Access to drinking water, outdoor kitchen area with plancha, (garden table, chairs and parasol already installed).
Electricity possible to recharge phone or small accessories.

The activities

Ideally located on the border of the Landes and the Basque Country, you will have easy access to many hiking trails (direct access from the site), and within a radius of 20km possibility of horseback riding, mountain biking, cycling, cultural visits, beach, lake, bars and restaurants...
Bus and beach shuttle.
Please note that Biarrotte has no shops or restaurants but there is a pizza delivery service.

If you wish, you can have breakfast outside (by making your reservation on homecamper).

  • After a week of roaming in a van with 4 people, we were delighted to settle in this green setting. Gabrielle and Xavier's welcome is very warm and their animals (chickens and cats) very good company. It's an ideal place to come and recharge your batteries and to sleep in, if necessary. For the wave lovers, the beach of Ondres is 15-20 min away (with a free parking dedicated to vans during the day). In short, if our next trips take us to Biarrotte, we will not hesitate to make another stop. Thank you very much for your welcome, Philippe, Alexia, Milo and Félicien.

    The grounds are very nice, spacious and shady. We really liked the outdoor shower!
    The access to dry toilets and an outdoor sink for washing up add to the comfort of this place.
    We were able to rest in the shade during the heat wave by installing our hammock under the trees. In the evening, the magnificent Oceanides beach is only 30 minutes away by car!
    A perfect place to be quiet while enjoying the beach.
