Description

Come and live an unusual experience by camping in the middle of the forest. You will be able to observe wild animals: roe deer, hare, squirrel, weasel, buzzard... (as long as you are discreet!) and refresh yourself by the stream.

The setting

Part of the Regional National Park of the Haut Languedoc, you will be surrounded by trees (oak, chestnut, hazelnut, ash, holly, boxwood...) in a forest of 8 hectares. The land is bordered by a fresh water stream which is fed all year round. No or little noise, no busy road around.

The spots

Several possible sites, including one with the possibility of putting up 2 tents (or even more, but the terrain is less developed). Others near the stream or on the southern slope (in these cases the dry toilets will be a little further from the camp). On the top of the ground, a plateau allows to welcome 4 to 5 tents. There are no permanent buildings on the site. You will be autonomous on your site with the possibility of making a campfire to cook. You can reach the site on foot, you can park your car at about 50 m below, we will help you to bring your stuff.

The sanitary facilities

You will have at your disposal dry toilets and a solar shower of 20 L.

The amenities

We put at your disposal :
- a grill to make a barbecue.
- a pot to heat water and food on the fire.
- a 20 L water jerry can (to be adapted to the number of people).
No electricity or running water.
Good telephone network and 4G.

The activities

Lots of walking paths from the property, marked out hikes in the surroundings, aquatic and wellness center at 10 mn (by car), horse riding, fishing, cultural visits...

Rules

Thank you for preserving nature, no paper, plastic or other materials on the ground (garbage bags available). Smokers are accepted but no butts on the ground (ashtray). Animals are tolerated but you are responsible for them, no roaming. Do not cut wood, there is a pile of logs ready. Beware of fire, please put it out when you lie down (fire extinguisher stored in the toilet)!
