Description

Idyllic and exclusive private camping in Miniwald, in the middle of the old village center of Dohren.
If you want to set up your camper or caravan centrally, but relaxed, between Nordmann firs and fruit trees, you've come to the right place.

The setting

The pitches are located at the back of our property and can be reached via a side road. The property is completely fenced, quietly located and mostly protected from view by the trees.
We offer a maximum of 2 pitches, which are rarely both used at the same time. As a rule, one is therefore for himself, which most of our guests enjoy very much.

The spots

The pitches are surrounded by Nordmann fir, fruit and other deciduous trees. Small niches and large trees provide space for privacy and partial protection from the sun.

The ground is a mixture of moss and grass, which is very pleasant for walking barefoot. At the same time, the ground is firm enough not to sink into it even with very heavy campers.

The sanitary facilities

Well and drinking water are available and included.
Unfortunately, we can not offer toilets and showers.

We offer electricity for 4 euros per day. From the 4th day the electricity is free of charge.

The amenities

Barbecue is possible with us. A grill can be provided.
Electricity is available and is charged per day on top.

Since there is no shopping possibility directly in the village, we offer a few basic foodstuffs with us for emergencies.

The activities

We are located at the gates of Hamburg and in the immediate vicinity of the Lüneburg Heath. At any time of the year, nature in the Lüneburg Heath provides a special spectacle. Great sunrises in spring, the cotton grass blossom in May, the heath bloom in summer, the mist over the moors in autumn, or the dark green junipers in the snow heath in winter. The Lüneburg Heath is always worth a trip and the destinations are numerous.

Dohren itself also provides the only baseball national league team based in a village. The Dohren Wild Farmers play their home games just a 10-minute walk away. Admission under 10 euros.

Other things

Dohren is located not far from Hamburg - reachable by "Der Metronom" within 30 minutes. The regional train stops in Tostedt - about 4km from Dohren.

In Tostedt are also all necessary shopping facilities as well as bakery, post office, ice cream parlor, drugstore, butcher, etc..
On Tuesday and Friday there is a small market.
