Quiet garden behind our house in the immediate vicinity of the Loire.
On the route of "la Loire à vélo".
Dry toilets and solar shower (not enclosed) available.
The garden is not overlooked.

The setting

Very quiet, house on the island of Chalonnes, with little traffic, the Loire passes in front of the house and provides a very soothing setting.

The spots

Garden behind the house, shady or not, flat land possible.
Parking space (without electricity) with view of the Loire in front of our house for a van or camper van.

The sanitary facilities

Dry toilets. Solar shower (not enclosed).

Extension cord available for use by tented travelers in the garden.

  • charming couple, one of the most beautiful panoramas of our stay - since our camper van was on the banks of the Loire -. However, while waiting for the planned sanitary facilities, it's better to have sanitary facilities in your camper van: simple tap for the toilet, unenclosed solar shower, dry toilet in a cramped tent.
    Recommended for a stopover.

    The only downside: the solar shower...
    No dedicated installation (in the middle of the garden) and hanging in a tree in the shade (cold water).
    When you're cycling all day, it's nice to be able to take a little shower.
