Description

The Domaine is located outside the village of Bougneau, 5 kilometers from the small town of Pons and 30 minutes from the coast and beaches.
With its beautiful rural setting, sunflowers, vineyards and charming villages, the Charente-Maritime is a province rich in history, not to mention its local products such as Pineau des Charentes, Cognac, oysters and seafood.

The setting

Our domain is in the middle of nature, in the middle of the fields, a real country setting. It is a place where you can relax, enjoy the good life, but also do activities such as walking, cycling and fishing.

The spots

We have 4 pitches, 2 of which are reserved for tents. The pitches are spacious with a surface area of about 200 m2 each, with an electric hook-up at each pitch. The grounds are flat and easy to access.
We can accommodate tents, vans, motorhomes and caravans under 7 m.

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary facilities are outside, there are 2 toilets, a shower and a sink.

The amenities

There are electrical outlets at each location. We have extension cords if needed.

The activities

There is a large swimming pool (5 x 10 m) and games (ball, bowls, rackets with foam ball and a dart board). You can go fishing, there is a river at 300 m. In Pons there is a leisure center with pedal boats, canoes, mini-golf, petanque and a playground for children. You can visit Pons, its dungeon and gardens...

Other things

Our domain is not accessible to double axle caravans and
motorhomes over 7 m. There is no possibility of sewage disposal.

Rules

There is no set time to return in the evening, we only ask you to be discreet so as not to disturb your neighbors.
For the swimming pool, we ask that children be accompanied by an adult who can swim.

It is forbidden to smoke at the pool.
Animals are not accepted.

  • The place is really nice. A large garden surrounded by sunflowers, a beautiful swimming pool where we spent a pleasant night... Some small details need to be reviewed, the light in the shower and a sink with hot water would be welcome...
    Please note that access for motorhomes is rather perilous, as the gate is rather narrow and the trees at the entrance are very low. For the Van no worries.

It's the first Homecamper I've done where there is no paper in the toilet and no light in the shower. It's the strict minimum... Pons is rather 5km away, at least the center.
