Description

A Restanques property of approx. 1250 m2 in a very green area, close to the woods.
Fitted out with several tent pitches.
Four pitches, each with a surface area of 15-20m2.
A communal area is dedicated to sanitary facilities, as well as several pitches for light vehicles.
The property is not fenced.

The setting

Near the Bois, very green area, between oaks and pines.
Very quiet area. Access by car via narrow lanes.
Suitable for people who love the woods, nature, peace and quiet and birdsong...

The spots

Four pitches on several restanques and a fifth emergency pitch.
Each pitch is approximately 15m2 to 20 m2.
There is no electricity supply.
Access to the pitches is on foot only.
Vehicles will be parked in a reserved area on the property or nearby.
Pitches are both shady and sunny, depending on the time of day.

The sanitary facilities

The sanitary area features a dry toilet, shower and sink.
Hot water is supplied instantly by two taps.
One in the washbasin and shower area and the other in the sink area.

The amenities

An electrical outlet is provided in the sanitary area for charging laptops or plugging in small electrical equipment if required.
A wifi internet connection is available in the vicinity of the house.

The activities

In the vicinity, numerous hikes, trails and bike paths.
Le Verdon is a 3/4-hour drive away, as is the sea, a 30-minute drive away.

Other things

The place is to be experienced with a certain serenity and calm. It's almost country here. Vehicles are left downstairs, and you walk up to pitch your tent.
No fires or barbecues allowed.

Rules

Access by car to park is on a steep slope, so it's advisable to park your vehicle at the bottom of the property, so you can have a look around before entering by car. The number of vehicles that can be parked inside the vehicle area is limited, and it's always best to check the number of cars already inside. Access to the tent sites is by foot only, but that's not far either.
No fires allowed. These are the rules in the VAR. If you are a smoker, be very vigilant and bring an ashtray for your cigarette butts.
The dry toilet is a clean and simple exercise. Please respect the cleanliness of the site, your pitch and communal areas. Explain to your children and show them how to use the taps and amenities, as the system can be easily damaged. Pets need to be supervised, as the property is not fenced and there are also animals in the house and sometimes wild animals, which are more at home :)

  • Very nice welcome from Nathan, the setting is very pleasant with everything we needed at our disposal (pitch, sink, toilet, hot shower much appreciated on this November evening).
    Thank you very much!

  • Very close to the village, practical and simple sanitary facilities.

  • I think we were very lucky to camp at Nathan's for our 1st experience in a tent.
It's a really nice place and Nathan's a real sweetheart! Many thanks for his welcome and support. The kids have great memories of this stay and of the little boar-hunting dog.

  • Nathan was amazing. This was our first night of camping and we had problems with our camping equipment. Nathan was more than helpful in making sure we were fed and comfortable. Great location with a great view of the bargemon. All amenities were great.

  • A big thank you to Nathan and Iggy for their welcome, sympathy and availability.
The places are propitious to recharge your batteries.
The installations have been thought with ingenuity.
The proximity of Bargemon is also an asset.
    We recommend it !

  • We arrived in Bargemon by bike at Nathan's place for 1 night and finally stayed 3 nights.
Nathan received us with a lot of sympathy, explaining us the functioning of the place : hot shower, double dry toilet... Quiet location, in the shade, to rest close to nature.
We shared beautiful discussions, everything is done to recharge our batteries here. Lots of things to discover in the surroundings, far from mass tourism... We highly recommend it!
    See you soon Nathan
