Description

Campsite with orchard, barbecue area, wooden hut, camping shower & power generator if required.

Description:
5 km from the Schöntal Monastery pilgrimage site and the home of Götz von Berlichingen lies the "Fuchseloch" in the beautiful Kochertal valley - as we call our approx. 3,000 m² sloping, completely fenced meadow area - above the industrial village of Ernsbach (approx. 1,100 inhabitants).
On the flat front part there is a barbecue area and a wooden hut. Parking is available directly on the site. However, access is only possible on foot. Driving on the property is only partially possible. The rear part, which is overgrown with apple trees, is initially flat but becomes increasingly steeper. Nevertheless, the "Fuchseloch" offers plenty of space to run around and play. Perfect for families with children and pets who would like to treat themselves to a quiet break in the Hohenlohe countryside.

Cultural and culinary delights:
There is also a bakery in the immediate vicinity - with the best yeast plait in the region - where you can get everything from A to Z. The local restaurant "Zum Lamm" is a culinary delight for connoisseurs of Swabian cuisine. Or you can visit the Bistro am Kocherwerk. In addition to hot and cold drinks, it also offers cakes, snacks and small delicacies. You can round off your visit to the Kocherwerk on the sun terrace. The idyllic area also offers perfect opportunities for hiking, for example to the Forchtenberg castle ruins - the birthplace of Sophie Scholl. In the hot summer months, the Kocher river with its sunbathing lawn at the sports field offers pleasant relaxation and cooling off. The Tiroler See, 5 km away, also offers fun for young and old with its volleyball court.

  • Thank you, dear Kamil, for the special vacation on your property. The proximity to nature and tranquility just outside the tranquil town pleased us very much. Due to the seclusion we have come to rest well and have forgotten the everyday life. In the log cabin we were well protected during the few rain showers we had and our equipment was dry and protected.
You are a very friendly and helpful host, thank you very much. :)

  • we were very kindly received by Kamil. In addition, he gave many nice tips as activities to go. Beautiful location and in the middle of nature with a small but nice house to cook or to store your belongings. I would like to give as a tip to make some parts of the terrain more level so that you can camp there with a little more people.

  • A beautiful spot in the forest! It has everything you need to be happy and you can watch animals well. In the worst weather we could even sleep in the cottage.
Kamil is very concerned about his guests and an extremely sympathetic host.

The Hohenlohe region offers many hiking opportunities and the medieval towns are a feast for the eyes.

We had a lot of fun on our vacation and will gladly come back soon!
