Description

Dog- and kid-friendly RV spot on private property close to the best hiking in AZ

The setting

Nestled at the intersection of two mountain ranges--Superstition and Goldfield--in the far east valley of metro Phoenix, our property has dozens of hiking trails within a 10-minute drive, some of the best (THE best, some might say) views in the entire Phoenix metro area, and all connivences of the civilization within easy reach (grocery stores, gas stations, an amazing children's library, etc.) The spot is located on an acre flat lot; we have friendly large dogs and chickens.

The spots

We have a flat clean RV parking spot with all the hookups (50 amp, sewer) that can accommodate any size RVs. There is a convenient gate to pull in; parking for vehicles is available either next to the RV on the property or outside the gate in the driveway. The spot has a great view of the Supersition mountains. You get direct access to the parking spot from the street.

The sanitary facilities

N/A

The amenities

50-watt dedicated 220-volt electricity hook-up for a 3-prong utility plug, standard water and sewer hook-ups. Washer and dryer available for an additional fee. Baked goods and breakfast from the cottage law certified home baker are available for an additional fee with advance request.

The activities

We are a 10-minute drive from some of the best hiking in Arizona in the Superstition mountain. Lots of horse and ATV trails all around. Goldfield Ghost town is 5 minutes away. There are pubs and restaurants, as well as a grocery store a 5-minute drive away. Tempe and Phoenix are 30-40 minutes away. Mesa and Gilbert are within 15-25 minutes.

Other things

We welcome dogs and kids. We have 2 super friendly large dogs who like to play outside. Small dogs (under 30 lbs) will need to be on leash; we will keep our dogs inside when you walk them. There is also a dog park 3 minutes away.
