Dear guests,
Reinhardt and Silke welcome you to our paradise.
We are individualists ourselves and love traveling, even always looking for pitches in solitude. Thus, we would like to be hosts and guests with other hosts.
We live in the Osterzgebirge in an old former residential stable house with a 5000 square meter property. We bought the farm 13 years ago and lovingly restored it. The farm is accessible via a 200 m private access road from the village street. The property is therefore in a secluded location and it is very quiet. It is located slightly above and offers a 360 degree unobstructed view of the countryside.

For our guests there is a separate large parking lot out of sight of our house. The access road has a narrow place in a bend, therefore unsuitable for longer caravans. The pitch is level and partly with a gravel surface. Adjacent to the pitch is a small outbuilding, the former horse stable. There is the freely accessible outdoor socket.

The activities

It is possible to start hiking immediately from the farm. The Gimmlitztal with its mills, and the Weißeritztal are particularly charming. The small town of Frauenstein with the castle and the castle ruins should definitely be visited. Day trips to Dresden, Chemnitz, Seiffen and Freiberg or to Saxon Switzerland are recommended. The Czech border is only 12 km away. Also a trip to Prague would be possible. In the village itself we have a small very well maintained natural swimming pool within walking distance. It was renovated by the initiative of the inhabitants of the village. Here you can swim free of charge at any time. Very nice lawns and a playground surround it.

Other things

In our village, which meanders along the small stream of Bobritzsch and is about 3.5 km long, there is a butcher who still slaughters himself and makes only products from regional meat. It is really worth it there to taste the homemade crackers! Then we have a baker who still gets up early and bakes himself. For his cakes he uses fresh milk from the farm in Clausnitz and no powdered milk. Here we recommend the Eierschecke. The nearest shopping facilities such as 2 supermarkets, flower store, newspaper store, pharmacy etc.... is located in Frauenstein 4 km away

Rules

We want guests who behave considerately and think that is actually natural.
We ourselves are artists, namely theater people, and we founded our own small theater on our farm 12 years ago. It could also happen that an event takes place on the farm, but this is unlikely under the current circumstances.
On our property you can move "fear-free" and of course we would like to look into the smiling faces of our guests.

  • Super Spot. Location for hiking is top. The guided tour of the theater we got spontaneously was super exciting. The two hosts are more than pleasant. It was a nice stay with beautiful spot, beautiful area and very pleasant hosts.

    The time at the Kastanienhof was uniquely beautiful! We were warmly welcomed with homemade spruce lemonade. The hosts are super friendly and happy to help you if you need tips for activities, etc..
    The site is beautifully situated under a chestnut tree and you have to the back out completely his peace. We have used the place for example for a game of badminton :) We had some interesting conversations with the hosts and felt 100% comfortable.
    We also enjoyed swimming in the nearby public nature pool.
    We would love to stay here again and again!
