Description

Detached house on 3 hectares, at the end of a dead-end road, with no neighbors (in fact there are 3 houses, but they belong to English owners who are away most of the year).
4 km from the veloscenie and close to the gr22.
Tip: Don't go to Mortain just for shopping. The hill is steep! Unless you're going for the waterfalls! A must!

The setting

Quiet, in the heart of nature, at the end of a dead-end road. 3 hectares of wooded land. No noise and very little light pollution.

The spots

Fairly flat, shady land. Easy access. Tent, caravan, car ok. Table and chairs available.

The sanitary facilities

The bathroom, toilet and kitchen are currently located inside the house.

The amenities

A fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal if needed.
We like to share dinner, which for us is a convivial moment of exchange.

The activities

Beautiful waterfalls can be explored at Mortain, but beware of the steep slope.

Other things

2 cats, hens and a rooster

No smoking inside, respect for one another. We are very open but you must respect other people's sleep.

  • Charming and welcoming hosts.
    Great visit to the orchard!
It's great to be able to observe the beginnings of a permaculture farm and share ideas :)

  • Hiking friends, don't hesitate, you can go to Laura's, not only to pitch your tent in a superb site, but also to chat with a beautiful person, few gardeners :-), the sharing of dinner, the facilities are very very good, even the crowing of the rooster in the morning is pleasant. an obvious stop on the veloscenie.

  • Lovely evening at Laura's - good campsite for everything you need
    Very nice hosts

  • A very warm welcome from Simon and Laura!
They were able to share with us their ambitious self-sufficient farm and adjacent projects. We were 5 with 3 tents and highly recommend the English breakfast.
++ : We had forgotten some keys which they were kind enough to send back to us by post the very next day!

  • Thanks to Laura and Simon for their welcome. Very attentive hosts.

  • Great stay with Laura and Simon! A very warm welcome from them, interesting and rich discussions ???? Go there without hesitation!
    See you soon, I hope!

  • Homecamper is an opportunity to meet your hosts and share a moment with them: here you can do just that in a charming setting.

  • A timeless experience! Laura, Simon and Selina gave us a warm, simple, friendly welcome: it was as if we'd spent the night with old friends. Interesting conversations against a backdrop of birdsong, I spent a very pleasant night when I usually sleep very badly in a tent. I can't recommend this lovely place enough, where the owners take us on a voyage of discovery. Thank you so much for everything, and we hope to see you again soon!

  • I was very well welcomed by Laura and her little family. I spent a very nice moment of sharing and conviviality.
My trip did not allow me to linger, so why not come back and visit the region.

  • Great experience with Laura. Very quiet. Laura is very welcoming and nice. Thanks again for your welcome.

  • We thank Laura and Simon for their warm welcome in this little corner of paradise. Quiet, just enjoying a meal together and the greenery.
    Thank you for everything.

  • Very nice welcome, sublime place, a haven of peace and benevolence

  • Laura and her family warmly welcomed us in their little corner of greenery. We spent a pleasant evening with Laura and her daughter. A very nice meeting, we will not miss to come back if the occasion arises

  • Superb reception of laura and Simon, we shared a beautiful evening after a very difficult day, and are distributed under the rain with all their encouragements to finish our journey to the Mont Saint Michel, I recommend for the reception and the framework!

  • Super hosts, we were very well received! Laura is very accessible what allows moments of sharing during a stopover. No problem to put its tent.

  • hello, following your last email, I would like to specify that I informed you of a death in the family which deeply affected us and that for this reason we would not come but also that I will recontact you to reserve another date, which we will do. thank you for your understanding. good day.
