Description

Feel free to pitch your tent at the bottom of our garden when you're out hiking. The village of Ferrières is filled with hilly paths through the woods. Magnificent scenery for nature lovers and those seeking a change of scenery.

The setting

The garden is located 900m from the center of Ferrières, yet so close to wooded paths. In season, the garden's small fruit trees (redcurrants, blackberries, raspberries...) will be at your disposal.

The spots

Large plot partially shaded by walnut and other trees. It's fenced except on the side of our house, but that's +- 100m from your tent.
Easy access (house side and garden side). Part of the site is flat enough to pitch your tent.
My children's playground is available for your children (trampoline, soccer ball, basketball hoop...) as well as the swimming pool located on our terrace in summer which will cool you down :-)

The sanitary facilities

You will be able to use the toilets of the house and to use our bathroom in our presence.

The amenities

Electricity is available outside and I will provide you with drinking water. A garden table is at your disposal. If you want to use our microwave, fridge or freezer, spices, don't hesitate to ask.
A sink is at your disposal in the laundry room for washing dishes, filling water bottles... (also in our presence).

The activities

Hiking (on foot or by bike) is the main activity in Ferrières.
A few kilometers away, in neighboring villages, you can discover the Domaine de Palogne (visit the castle ruins, kayak,...) or the town of Durbuy is not far either.

Other things

A store (proxy Delhaize) is located 1km from our house.
My children will be delighted to welcome you. But if you want to be left alone, don't worry, just let us know.

Rules

No parties during the night, but our family is open to a shared aperitif or morning coffee if we're available :-)

  • Excellent welcome from our hosts Bérangère, J-C and their two loustics, all very friendly and welcoming. They offered us an aperitif, a convivial moment shared in front of the magnificent view :-)
    Quite a quiet place at night, although more noise in the early morning (road). Easy access to the very spacious and clean bathroom, and we could have taken a dip in the pool if the water had been warmer ;-)
