The district Freusburg is located between the Westerwald and Siegerland and belongs to the small climatic health resort Kirchen (Sieg). It offers on the one hand the possibility as a leisure and vacation area at the Sieg and the Asdorfbach.

In addition, Kirchen (Sieg) offers a variety of hiking areas in the middle of the Giebelwald and Windhahn.
