Description

We offer pitches in the parking lot of our riding school.
Possibility of a riding session, 20€/session.
Subject to availability. We don't give lessons very often, and never give rides to visiting riders.
You have access to the riders' toilets. No shower facilities.

The setting

Equestrian farm. Open countryside. Total silence. Horses all around...

The spots

Park your vehicle on our large private parking lot (flat, hard-surfaced, unshaded), on the edge of a small, quiet road.
Close to our home.
You can use our green spaces to picnic or rest in the shade of the trees.
If you need to pitch a tent, we can offer you a pitch in our large garden.

The sanitary facilities

Access to the WC in the stables.

The amenities

Possibility of recharging your batteries, phones, etc. at our place.
No access to a kitchen. But possibility of renting a gîte for perfect comfort, rates depending on period: between €100 and €200/night for 4/5 people. Internet, wifi, sheets and towels provided.

The activities

Riding lessons for children, and adults, if they are light and sporty. (No horse suitable for adult beginners over 70kg).
Equipment: we lend helmets. Bring rubber boots and comfortable pants (leggings or jogging shorts, for example). Please call us a few days in advance to find out if it's possible to book a riding lesson.

Other things

For the riding session, you will need to provide us with a certificate of civil liability and personal accident insurance, valid for private life.
For children, this usually accompanies the school insurance, under the name "extra-curricular".
For adults, check with your home insurance policy. Alternatively, you can take out equestrian insurance online, at a cost of 10€.

Rules

It's not a campsite, so you'll probably be the only campers on site, apart from our family and our riders on accommodation courses.
If there's still a gîte available, you can opt to rent the gîte for a comfortable night's sleep in your own home, with bedrooms, living room, terrace, bathroom and private kitchen! Rates depend on the season.
No opening hours, easy access for all vehicles, smokers welcome, children welcome.
Only limit: no dogs on our premises, unless on a leash, and no dogs in our gîtes.
Please contact us for further information.

Situation
  • We arrived at around 8pm.
After a call to Aleth, who gave us instructions on how to land and set up the roof tent near the stables. She welcomes us.
Unluckily for that night, some young ladies were having a party in the annex. And then another party that went on all night (4 or 5 a.m.) with deafening music kept us awake even though the place was supposed to be quiet.
    So, clearly a bit disappointed.
As for amenities, we didn't have access to the shower as indicated, as it was in the gîte reserved for it by the ladies.
A toilet (very, very dirty) and an equally dirty sink, impossible to plug, prevented us from using it.
Fortunately, we had a makeshift basin to wash ourselves in, but with no heating and our friends spiders and mosquitoes.
A brief place to stay, but one for which you clearly need to be self-sufficient.
I'd ask the owners to remove things that might be unavailable (shower, sink etc...) because again, not very breasts.
The alarm clock with the hair is quite nice.
To sum up, camping car only!!! Roof tent if self-contained.

  • Aleth is very nice. quiet location surrounded by horses, not to mention the quality of the welcome.

  • Charming setting, lovely owners. Aleth took the time to enjoy an exelent herbal tea from her garden after her day's work. We also had access to showers and impeccable toilets. Thank you so much for this beautiful stopover.

  • Very good stay, idyllic setting.

  • Very nice experience!
Aleth and Frank are very welcoming hosts with whom it is very pleasant to chat.
The location is on the parking lot but we can walk around or sit in the equestrian center which is very refreshing.
A big thank you to both of them.
    We recommend without hesitation!

  • I particularly recommend Aleth and Franck. A couple of artists whose freedom, sympathy, and joy of living are communicative. A really nice meeting, welcome and communication at the top. I did not test the shower and equipment because I was only there from 10pm to 7am. The night was very quiet.
I really look forward to seeing them again, thank you Franck and Aleth.
