The setting

Very quiet and restful village, forest and fields around

In season you can have salads or other vegetables available, see small fruits (raspberries, cherries, etc. ...)

The spots

You will be in the shade of 2 walnut trees
the land is flat and behind the house, easy to access (about 20 m from your car)

The sanitary facilities

You will be able to use the bathroom of the house, to share with the present tenants (via airbnb among others).
WC on the ground floor and WC on the first floor with shower.
No shower at night after 10 pm to keep the quietness of other travelers staying in the house.

The amenities

Several power outlets are available in a garden shed, which can also be used in case of heavy rain to sleep (more comfortably than under the rain :-)
You will be able to use the kitchen of the house, to share with the tenants present (via airbnb among others)
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a microwave, a cooking plate, a toaster, 2 refrigerators, a dishwasher and all the necessary utensils...
You can easily recharge your cell phone in the garden shed (3 plugs available)
There is also a light inside the hut and one outside.
Free access to the ground by a small gate (that it will be necessary to always close with each passage)

The activities

The area of La Petite Pierre, about 15 km away, is perfect for hiking.
The GR 53 passes by there, as well as a circuit of the castles of Alsace.
Mountain bikers and road cyclists will also find their happiness, with dedicated paths.
You also have the houses in the rocks to visit in Graufthal and many possible ballades in the regional park of the Northern Vosges!
Visits of museum (lalique, ect...) of crystal works,... castle of the high barr,
Activities : summer sledging at about 20 mn, or electric karting at 11 km....

Other things

My house and its garden are located in a charming village of 450 inhabitants, very quiet. We are surrounded by neighbors who should not be disturbed after 10 pm!


Rules

Arrival from 4pm and departure before noon, possibility to stay from 1 night to ..... No limit in duration :-)
No fire on the lawn (I lend a barbecue)
No cigarette butts on the ground - no waste on the ground - make the place clean
Sorting of garbage to respect and food goes to compost
Respect for the neighborhood
Parking on the parking spaces in front of the house (on the road and delimited by cones)

In season you can have salads or other vegetables available, or even small fruits (raspberries, cherries, etc...)
Also homemade jams will be available for your breakfast
And or participation if the weather allows it in common barbecues with the other tenants and us owners!

I put at your disposal for the composition of your breakfast (that you will prepare yourself)
homemade jam, organic orange juice, tea, herbal tea, coffee, cocoa of your choice,

  • We were very warmly welcomed and had two wonderful days. Thomas and his wife were very nice to us. We had a nice tent site and even got access to the kitchen. We would love to come back again!
