Description

A haven of peace and rejuvenation... You'll wake up to birdsong and fall asleep to the sounds of crickets. Located 20 km from the sea, 25 km from La Rochelle. Easy access to cultural events and visits, nature-related activities on your doorstep. I also offer wellness massages at half price for campers, and one evening a week at the auberge espagnole, where you can exchange ideas and learn from each other over local produce.

The setting

5 words to describe the place: rejuvenation, rest, well-being, nature and peace.
The permanent animal occupants (Roots, Violette, Fiji, Chewbacca, Lilie and the chickens) will have eyes only for you, each with their own living space.
You'll also have the chance to watch the incessant ballet of marsh storks, deer and other wildlife....

The spots

You choose your own location and can decorate it to your taste for more privacy with canvases that I can provide.

The sanitary facilities

Sanitary facilities in the home.
Please limit water consumption for the well-being of everyone and the planet...

The amenities

Everything is at your disposal: crockery, microwave, barbecue, coffee maker, board games, outdoor games (molky, badminton, ball).

The activities

I can take the time to show you a walking circuit in the marshes along the canals, which is very pleasant in summer. I can also show you the museums and cultural events of the moment. Our region is rich in them....

Rules

I'm counting on everyone's good manners to keep the place clean and welcoming. Sociable dogs are welcome and can share the space with Roots and Violette, who love to play. In order to respect everyone's need to rest, silence must be respected from 10 p.m. except on evenings when meals are shared.
Please note that the house is accessible only for sanitary facilities and cooking (this is camping and not a gîte), and that consumables are your responsibility (toilet paper, washing-up liquid, soap...).

Extras

Possibility of breakfast (€5 / person)

Tea, milk, coffee, bread, butter, homemade jam, homemade cake...

Tent ready

1 x 2-seater tent, 1 x 1-seater tent, without mattress.

  • Lise and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay: Christelle was an excellent host, available, responsive, smiling and generous, always ready to respond to our requests. We went on a beautiful hike with her. Christelle is a very good guide, with good advice. The "Auberge Espagnole" evening was also a great way to get to know the other campers. Her "wellness massages" are a great way to relax and unwind.

Concrete place for our giant caravan, easy maneuver, for the beginners that we are, it was great!
Christelle made us discover the specialities of the area, a treat!
We will come back with pleasure if our trips bring us back to Landrais.

  • Thank you for your welcome, very good time with you! Christelle is very warm and welcoming! We still have to release fish in the river for our next visit ;)

  • A very good welcome the little one took a lot of pleasure and so did we.

  • A very confortable place, a great sunset and Christelle is a so nice host.

  • Property in the middle of the fields, very quiet, near the Poitevin marshes and located a few kilometers from Chatelaillon beach, near Rochefort and La Rochelle which we were able to visit.
Christelle is a charming, friendly and welcoming hostess always ready to answer our questions. We also enjoyed the company of all her animals for 4 days.
