Description

Between the stream and the snail parks, you can choose in the field where to set up your tent: in the cool of the stream, in the shade of an elder, well placed to enjoy the sun's rays, or in a quiet corner.
You can also take advantage of the communal areas: sanitary facilities, a hangar with a dining area and a living room for relaxing and sharing.

The setting

The estate is surrounded by nature, isolated from the village and in a peaceful setting.
On one side are the snail parks, on the other the lapping of the stream and the trees all around.

The spots

The site is flat and shaded on the banks of a stream.
Pitches are open and not marked out.
Access to the site is via a small bridge.

The sanitary facilities

Sanitary facilities including a washbasin, 2 showers, 2 dry toilets and a washing machine are available to campers. They are open at all times.

The amenities

The site has a hangar with a kitchen and dining area (crockery and cooking equipment, tables and benches), as well as a lounge for relaxing and sharing.
There's no wifi on the farm, but a 3G network amplifier will keep you connected :)
Electrical outlets are available in the hangar and washrooms.

The activities

From the estate, a multitude of hiking and biking trails (rented on site).
A few dozen kilometers away, you can enjoy swimming at Vouglans lake, or hiking (Hérisson waterfalls, Oliferne peak, Quinquenouille waterfall, 4 lakes lookouts, etc.).

Other things

In addition to the camping area, the site offers a mini gîte for 3 people, a family guest room (for up to 4 people) and a geodesic dome (for two people).
The entire estate is available for private use (except July and August).

  • Top camp! Very quiet location, plenty of space, very good amenities, small, inexpensive bar available as an extra!
Alternative places just the way we like them! We recommend it!

  • We spent 2 days in the Jura with one night with Coline and Pierre. Excellent welcome with even a small concession in our favor concerning our location, thank you again. The table d'hôtes is top notch, a delicious and convivial dinner as well as breakfast.
We loved your concept and all the facilities.
    Best wishes for the future.
    See you next time...

Well-equipped for self-catering, the meals cooked on site by the hosts are a must-taste!

  • Thank you for your warm welcome. In addition to the beauty of the place and the impeccable facilities, your friendly and benevolent manner makes us want to come back and discover even more of your beautiful region. A stay that really feels good.

  • We had a short but very pleasant stay. Calm, simplicity and benevolence, all the infrastructures are present to facilitate our life. The place is very beautiful and very well arranged. Coline and Pierre are adorable, we will return with great pleasure!

  • Warm welcome and ideal location by the river. Excellent stay at the farm :)

  • Very nice welcome from Coline and Pierre in their natural setting.
Pleasant wake up with the song of the birds.
The common areas are clean and well arranged. The children particularly liked the meeting with the animals... horses, donkeys, chickens, ducks and dogs! Too bad it was still too early in the season for the snails.

  • Very good place to feel out of the country. Pierre and Coline are adorable and very attentive. They left us a place to put the motorcycle under cover and a battery charger. I recommend this place to all mountain lovers! Have a nice stay with them !

  • Thank you!

  • Pierre and Colin have a beautiful and quiet place. We enjoyed our stay very much getting some Rest, stroking the donkeys and discovering the snailfarm.

  • Very pleasant setting and hosts, small guided tour of the snail farm as a bonus. Common space and sanitary well equipped and clean! We recommend it!

  • The Little Mountain Snail Farm is a little paradise. We camped near the river and the donkeys. Pierre gave us a tour of the farm and we learned a lot about snail farming. We then enjoyed a superb meal prepared by Coline. We received a lot of advice about the region and met nice people who were also staying at the farm. We also enjoyed a well-equipped communal kitchen, handy for campers on rainy days! In short, we will be back!
