Description

Our house is located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, in the beautiful village of Laneuville-au-Bois, close to Saint-Hubert (province of Luxembourg).
From the garden of the house and from your room, you will enjoy a breathtaking view on the plains and the forest of St-Michel Freyr...
The region of Saint-Hubert is full of richness, beauty and many activities are possible. We will be happy to advise you according to your desires...
Trail, mountain bike, racing bike or hiking enthusiasts, you will be satisfied!

The setting

Located in Tenneville in the Ardennes, next to Saint-Hubert, our house has a large and pleasant garden of 25 ares.
From the garden, you will enjoy an environment and an unobstructed view on the wooded and rural landscapes.
The garden is surrounded by fields and bordered by the immense and magnificent forest of St-Michel Freyr (spread over several communes including Saint-Hubert and Tenneville).
From the garden, or from the windows of the guest rooms, it is not uncommon to see wild boars, deer (emblem of the forest of Saint-Hubert!), foxes, roe deer, birds of prey and sometimes even black storks!

The spots

The room is in new condition and perfectly maintained (finishes September 2010) and the atmosphere is like a mountain chalet thanks to the wood present everywhere (spruce panelling on the walls, exposed beams on the ceilings, oak parquet on the floor, Afromosia windows...).
This wood also underlines the natural and pure character of our region; the Ardennes.
Thanks to an excellent natural insulation in cellulose and wood fibers in the walls, you will not hear the outside noises and you will appreciate the warmth and comfort of wood.

The location of the house has been checked by professionals (radon, sources, negative waves...) and it is very healthy.

All our materials, insulations and paints are ecological.

A breathtaking view on the fields and the forest of Saint-Hubert in the Ardennes is offered to you from all the rooms!

The sanitary facilities

2 beds (possibility of separating the beds) with goose down comforter adapted to the season;
1 baby bed to CE standards;
Private bathroom in the room (shower, sink, toilet, towels, towel heater to heat your shower towels);
Wifi high speed ;
VMC (controlled mechanical ventilation) which brings you fresh air at the desired temperature.

The amenities

Wifi, TV lounge, library, books and free hiking equipment...

The activities

The fascination for the province of Luxembourg can be discovered in many ways. Starting with the beauty of its natural sites, its viewpoints and its landscapes. Its appeal is amplified by the charm of its small villages.
Its attractiveness is also based on its architectural heritage, with monuments and sites that cannot be ignored, such as the castles of Bouillon and La Roche or the abbey of Orval!

But also a number of museums and surprising places, to discover along our bucolic roads.

Our region is a paradise for hikers.
The amateurs of walks and strolls, the walkers, the runners, the cyclists on road or in VTT, the horsemen, the motorists and motorcyclists, in particular the owners of old vehicles, appreciate to assuage their passion in varied decorations...

We put at your disposal a welcome folder containing the majority of museums, hikes, animations, events and sports to practice in the region.
It is obvious that we also put all our knowledge at your service to advise you according to your desires.

The little extra that will make you want to come to us: the personalized and unusual activities!
