Description

The Alte Bückeburg is an 8000 square meter area. At the foot of the Buckeberg you have access to beautiful hiking and cycling trails in the countryside. The Sonnebrink outdoor swimming pool is 50m away. Your host Jan is a jovial Belgian who has worked as a chef and hotel manager all over the world for many years. The setting

Both are quiet meadows on the edge of the forest, without light pollution. They are completely fenced off so that curious wild boar and deer cannot enter them.

The spots

We have two pastures available. The chicken meadow is 1500 square meters and is flooded with sunlight. The sheep meadow is a shady meadow at the edge of the forest.

The sanitary facilities

You can always shower in a guest bathroom by arrangement. Rainwater is always available.

The amenities

Wifi is not available on our meadows. Electricity can be supplied with an extension cable. Various barbecue facilities are also available. Kettle, etc. can be used

The activities

The scooter rental service from Scooterverleih-Obernkirchen is highly recommended. These can be hired at the accommodation. The outdoor pool is 100 m from the campsite. In addition, the Bückeberg invites you to go hiking or mountain biking for hours on end

  • Despite a rather difficult installation because of the unevenness of the ground, we spent a good week. The hosts are very welcoming and we spent 2 good evenings with them.
