Description

La Ferme des Simples is an ideal place to recharge your batteries away from stress and pollution. Come and reconnect with our beautiful Limousin nature in the middle of our aromatic and medicinal plants and camp on our 6ha land.

The setting

Nestled in a lovely valley crossed by a stream, our farm offers a variety of landscapes: meadows, chestnut groves, oak forests, clearings, wetlands, panoramic plateau. Our land is bordered by a communal road and is far from any automobile traffic. So you can let the children play in peace. The village is two minutes away (tobacco, bakery, post office), and the shopping areas a little further (15mn).

The spots

We have several developed sites scattered in the woods or on the edge of the meadow. Shady, sunny, accessible to cars or more secluded, you choose what suits you. The ground of the pitches is covered with RCW in order to be more comfortable. Each site has an open dry toilet nearby.

The sanitary facilities

You will have outdoor dry toilets and solar showers.

The amenities

In case of heavy rain, you can access the living room where you will find an Internet access, a well-stocked naturalist and botanical library, toys for children. You will also be able to recharge your cell phones. The farm is not covered by the network. If you need to make a phone call, just walk 5 minutes up the hill.

The activities

Our place is the ideal place to reconnect with the Living. From our place, you will be able to go for many walks in the countryside and along the river, but above all, you will be able to participate in the workshops we organize on plants throughout the season: recognizing plants, knowing how to cook them, taking care of yourself, tinkering with Nature's resources... Other things

People who wish to do so can help us pick the plants. You can also contact us through our website (website hidden) to bypass the middleman. Our farm is a good starting point for those who would like to discover the region in order to settle down.

Rules

The respect of the place and its different inhabitants, human and non-human, is an obvious prerequisite. We ask you not to use industrial hygiene products. If you wish, we can provide you with soap produced locally by an artisanal soap factory. In order to preserve resources, we invite you to produce as little waste as possible. Campfires are possible on the reserved sites.

Coffee (organic fair trade), herbal teas from the garden, Mathilde's bread (hum... too good), homemade jams, organic & local butter, homemade pancakes.
