  • A very warm welcome from Jean Marie in a large, quiet plot surrounded by sheep and cows, which is what we wanted.
Bring a mosquito net and mosquito repellent, as it's ideally located for visiting the Camargue and its magnificent bird sanctuary, the Étang d'Or, but with its mosquitoes too, at nightfall!

  • Arriving in the rain, Jean Marie arranged a clean space for us to spend the night. And the next morning, he was on hand to guide us out of the camper van.
Away from the world and the noise, but not alone. An excellent place to come back to fish and rest in peace and quiet. Thank you Jean Marie

  • we knew the village but what a surprise!! to find this little corner of pure nature a few hundred meters from the center....not to mention the kindness of jean marie, it will surely remain a stopover for our next migrations to the south.

  • Very good weekend welcome and top setting.

  • Thank you Jean-Marie for your welcome and availability. We really appreciated your property, its amenities, but above all the company of your pretty daughters :)
Unfortunately our stay was too short. We'll be back to discover the recommended walk.
    Au plaisir

  • Jean Marie is very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are well laid out, with tables and games for children. My daughter enjoyed the company of the sheep.
A bit muddy in the rain, though...

  • A short stay in an idyllic location... the joys of the countryside by the pond. Jean-Marie loves to entertain and show off his region. I'll be back for a sunset kayak trip on another occasion! The sheep are also good company. Thank you for everything. Dry toilets and solar shower, amenities as described.

  • Ideal location in a quiet natural setting. Superb experience! A warm welcome from Jean-Marie, who has a way of making people feel at ease.

  • Very pleasant night under the trees.
    Solar shower and dry toilets.
All this 500m from a remarkable natural site, thank you for everything!

  • An extended stay on Jean-Marie's property. Calm, nature, shade, conviviality, close to Montpellier...and a visit to the ponds.
A memorable stay and a well kept address.

  • A super pleasant setting with shade to help you get through the hot hours, friendly animals and a super accommodating welcome from Jean-Marie. Precise advice on the region and activities.
    So I stay a plus...

  • Fantastic setting.
    We'll definitely be there.

  • The stay at Jean-Marie's was very pleasant, especially the night spent with the sheep, a special experience. Jean-Marie took time for us and we felt very comfortable. We will come back with great pleasure!

  • The stay at Jean-Marie's was very pleasant, spending the night with the sheep was a special experience! Jean-Marie was very considerate and took a lot of time for us. We will be back with great pleasure!

  • Jean Marie was very available and accommodating, I made a request at 6:30 pm and he welcomed me the next hour! He advised me on many activities and visits, and even lent me a bicycle.
Very well located land, hikes nearby.
Thanks to him for these few days.
Bring a good mosquito net :)

  • Thank you very much Jean-Marie for your hospitality and your advice for visits! We had a very nice stay, even if it was short! The place is magical: calm and greenery, the sheep very discreet, the walk nearby to admire the pink flamingos! Everything was perfect !

  • Jean-Marie was very cool because I made a request at the last moment,
I arrived alone on the field with all the explanations, he was present from a distance if needed and then his colleague came in the evening.
I finally spent a second night here, not planned and I met some very nice people, shared aperitif :)
    In the surroundings a magnificent landscape with pink flamingos;
On the ground, shower bags and a huge water can, dry toilets, tables, no electricity
For my part I heard a lot of noise at night or early in the morning, but I think it was exceptional because the small adjacent road is not very busy, or else it was agricultural machinery. To test for you!
There is some shade but it is small bushes, I was alone and it was perfect, for several tents I do not know
See you next time and thank you!

  • Very good welcome, Jean Marie is very nice, the land is quiet, but beware of mosquitoes!
Nice kayak trip in the evening on the marsh.

  • We stopped for 1 night at Jean-Marie's place. The place is spacious and calm. Thank you for the welcome !

  • Very good one night stay at Jean-Marie's. There are plenty of games on the spot to pass the time although I didn't take much advantage of it being alone. On Jean-Marie's advice, I went to see the sunset next door where there was a protection area for the pink flamingos. Magnificent! It will remain engraved in my memory. Jean-Marie kindly lent me his bike to go there, but it's also very fast on foot.

  • First experience with a home camper
    Good welcome from Jean Marie
Positive point : the calm of the site
Negative point : no water, no electricity
Too expensive compared to a 2 or 3 star campsite.

  • super beautiful and quiet environment at 10 min by bike from the village.

We appreciated very much our night at Jean-Marie. A wild camping with all that it is necessary in more to be well, toilets, shower and the fresh water.

    Thanks

    Louise and Saïd

  • Our night at Jean-Marie's place went very well. The setting is nice, the sheep are good and the surroundings are worth seeing. Nice walk or bike ride to see the salting huts and the birds.
Jean-marie is very welcoming and helpful, he gives good advice.
The dry toilets are very practical, but lacking a small mirror to clean up. A small solar/camping shower would be nice. The drinking water that he left us in a large jerry can was not very good and tasted like plastic, the container should be reviewed.
It is for these two reasons that I find the stay a little expensive compared to the "services" offered. Thank you Jean-Marie for this night, our cyclists' legs found this well-deserved night pleasant and our 3 kids really enjoyed the sheep and the slackline.

  • Super corners of Nature! I highly recommend it.

  • Small quiet corner near the pond.
    Quiet night
Discreet and friendly company of some sheep.
    Light shade.

  • A very nice and quiet place, we were very well received by Jean-Marie!

  • Excellent communication with Jean Marie and excellent reception.
    The pluses:
Few people admitted, I was alone on the field in the 1st fortnight of August
No houses around, view on the neighboring land with bulls
The evening with the sound of the crickets, the morning with the songs of the birds. A little animation in the distance carried however, by the wind, in this summer period
Cool night, not too much, just enough to sleep well
A gate with a padlock closes the field
Jean-Marie proposes to kayak on the Etang d'Or, it's his main activity I think
Tables and benches, dry toilets, non-drinking water reserve, on the ground.
The minus : a lot of mosquitoes from nightfall to morning. Take anti-mosquito and do not stay outside in the early evening.

  • Too much mosquitos. Don't forget your protections...

  • Thank you very much

Jean Marie accepted my reservation for my parents at the last minute
They were very happy with their stay in an idyllic setting and very friendly host

  • Perfect host, could even spontaneously go on a kayak tour!
