Description

Bivouac under the apple trees or view on a small valley?
Do you feel like eco-tourism? Nature lovers, cyclists, hikers, in the countryside and 3.5 km from the ocean, at the end of the Bigouden country and very close to the Capiste country (Pointe du Raz), we offer you a place for your tent in the top of our land, near the house (40m) and our hens. You are in a van or a caravan ? You can also settle down on the top of the ground except in case of big rain over several days (difficult access for a car if ground is soaked).
Ideally located to discover the bay of Audierne with its surfing and swimming beaches (the beach of Kerrest, the closest, is supervised in summer), the Cider road, the Cap Sizun and the Pointe du Raz, the GR34 and the hiking trails, ...

The setting

Our land is located along a hiking trail that goes directly to the town of Plozévet (about 2.5km), accessible by bike or on foot! On the other side, the path goes into a small valley and crosses a stream.
We live in a locality, with a few scattered neighbors, but your site is well isolated.
You are not far from the beaches, in the calm, in the heart of the countryside, you will be in contact with its life and activities according to the seasons. At home, the vegetable garden and the henhouse keep us busy, and you will be welcome to discover the animals if you wish. Fresh eggs and other seasonal products will be available for sale. On clear nights you can admire the myriad of stars and the Milky Way. Some nights the sea will lull you to sleep...

The spots

Pitch for 4 persons
You have the choice to settle down : a shady place under the apple trees or a more open place with a view on the small valley. A table is at your disposal. You are isolated from the road (not very busy) by the large orchard. You are also close to the sanitary facilities and the henhouse. Any vehicles can be parked on the site. We can offer you a shelter for your bikes.

The sanitary facilities

Located on the edge of the orchard and with a clear view on the valley, the sanitary facilities are as ecological as possible: solar water, dry toilets, recycled materials, ... They consist of a comfortable cabin for the toilets, a kitchen block protected from the sun and bad weather by an arbour. You will find a sink, 2 gas fires, solar hot water, electrical outlets, electric kettle, and a cooler with ice packs. A solar shower hut with a clothes dryer and a 40 liter tank, well sealed to optimize heat :) is at your disposal! We do not provide super hot showers at any time of the day, but we do our best in the installation!
NB: In case of too cold weather, hot showers are possible at home.

The amenities

A cooler as well as basic products (salt, pepper, sugar, dishwashing liquid, soap, cleaning products, toilet paper, ...) and tea towels are available.
Deckchairs, some games for children and a large table under the orchard are available :) .
A wifi connection is present but we do not guarantee the speed...

The activities

According to your desires, hiking, sea, surfing, cultural outings, etc..., are at your door! The beach of Kerrest, the closest to the house, has a supervised swimming in summer.
Discover the marvelous landscapes of the Cap Sizun to the Bay of Audierne, the GR34, pretty cities of character (Pont Croix with its medieval village, Locronan), the calm of the Goyen river, the road of the Cider, the road of the Solar Wind...

Other things

Beware, calm does not mean silence, and domestic and wild animals are as much at home as we are ;). Owls, foxes, deer, roosters, birds, ... are present.
The agricultural activities are also present according to the seasons.

The site being on our place of life and relatively close to one of our neighbors, we ask you to respect the calm and the environment of the place, we do not welcome groups or parties.
You are in a natural environment and we have at heart to be as ecological as possible, so we thank you not to leave waste in nature and to respect the environment.
