Description

Welcome to our campsite in Celles-Sur-Belle, in the middle of the fields, for "wild" but safe camping.

The setting

A meadow at the back of the house, an old farmhouse in a hamlet of two households. The neighbor's horses graze next door. Chickens and roosters roam about. No onlookers or traffic. Town center 2kms away. Shops 1km away.

The spots

Flat land accessible to all vehicles. 2 pitches available. Possibility of using the barn.

The sanitary facilities

Cold water and dry toilets outside. Showers from 8am to 10am and from 6pm to 8pm in the house.

The amenities

Close to a barn with water and electricity supply. Wifi Internet access on the terrace. Small, fully-equipped kitchen with crockery and a few basic products, reserved for guests inside the house.

The activities

Outdoor activities: hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, geocaching
Heritage and cultural activities: museums, castles, Romanesque churches, Protestant Poitou, street art and music festivals all summer long
Visits to producers' farms, arts and crafts, Zoodyssée, silver mines,
nearby Marais Poitevin and Futuroscope,

Rules

Please respect these rules:
Arrival from 5 pm to 9 pm, departure before noon.
Please arrive at the house to gain access to the grounds.
Respect fences for horses, don't frighten them, keep your pets under control.
Your children are your responsibility, so please do not let them ride on farm machinery or enter barns.
Respect the selective sorting of garbage (identified garbage cans, compost).
Make sure you don't make any noise after 10 p.m.

  • We slept in a barn, a very pleasant space, sheltered from the wind. It's also possible to set up in the meadow. It's a pretty nice place to spend a night! The dry toilets were unavailable, so we stayed with the hosts. Clean shower!
    I'd be delighted to return.

  • Very good welcome! We were two with our camping car and our dog (to be kept on a leash: free range chickens) - possibility to connect for electricity - no water or other services (toilets etc) - we parked under the barn: top! Very good for a stopover - very discreet owners - we highly recommend this place!
