Description

Having camped extensively in the wilderness (on foot, by bike and in a van), we would like to offer a bivouac site for itinerant travelers, in a mountain village setting.

The setting

4 km from the châtillon-sur-cluses pass and 4 km from Arâches (les Carroz) along the departmental road, we are at an altitude of 1000 m with a view over the valley.
Very nice view of the setting sun. A few pedal strokes (...uphill) and you'll see Mont-Blanc.

The spots

The small, flat grassy area can accommodate up to 4 bivouac tents. Below our house and parking lot. ATTENTION 3 meters MAX in WIDTH.
We'll adapt to your needs: you can retreat to the shelter in the event of a storm.

The sanitary facilities

We'll share a large bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Outside, you'll have independent access to dry toilets and water recovery with a basic sink and hose.

The amenities

Wifi, electrical outlet and outdoor light for dry toilets.
Bike shelter, barbecue available.

The activities

On site in Agy PARAPENTE, VTT, RANDO, SKI de fond.
SPELEO Balme caves 4 km
CLIMBING at La Frasse 2 km
PARAPENTE, EAU VIVE les Carroz 6km and Samoëns 10 km

Other things

Traditional waste sorting (containers 20 m from the house) and the chickens will thank you for the green waste.

Rules

No access to the home after 9 p.m. and before 6 a.m.
Follow the classic rules of respect for others and the shared living space (planting, noise, garbage).

Extras

Tent ready

For an additional €5/night, payable on site: a small 3-seater tent (for non-smokers only).

  • Nicolas' stay was just perfect. Very welcoming and responsive, Nicolas did everything to make travelers feel comfortable and at ease. I highly recommend it! Beyond that, this encounter will remain engraved in my memory.

  • We were made very welcome by Nicolas, his partner claire and capucine.
We stayed with them for two nights, and everything went very well.
Flat pitch for the tent, quiet village, perfect for a good night's sleep and setting off on new adventures the next day.
By the way, don't hesitate to ask Nicolas for ideas or information on walks in the area, he'll certainly share a little nugget or two with you.
Thanks again for your warm welcome, we'll be glad to come back the next time we're in Haute Savoie.

  • Friendly welcome from Nico and his family, we had a pleasant stay.
