Description

Very quiet, bucolic location in the countryside

The setting

The rectangular plot is bordered by a small wood and a few trees. It's particularly pleasant at sunset, with an unobstructed view of the horizon. The varied birdsong and the horses on the next plot complete the bucolic picture.
You may even be lucky enough to spot a Little Bustard (a protected species).
The site is located at the back of the house, away from residential areas.

The spots

The plot is flat and fairly well shaded (especially in the afternoon). The most pleasant pitches are at the back of the plot (100m from the house).
Access is from the street side to the rear.

The sanitary facilities

No equipment at the moment at the back of the property, but I can offer access to the house depending on my presence at the desired time. Otherwise, I have a shower if needed.
Dry toilets are planned for this summer, as well as a more easily accessible water point.

The amenities

For electricity, I can propose a 50 m extension cord + a 40 m extension cord, I have an outside plug. The wifi won't work at the back of the property, but only close to the house.
If needed, I can help out with the kitchen.

The activities

- There's a bakery in the village.
- The nearest town is Thénezay, 5 km away. It has the main shops: Carrefour contact, bakery, bar/restaurant, pork butcher, pharmacy, bank... Sunday market.
- On the other side is Ayron with its Saturday market, where you'll also find shops, as well as in Chalandray and Vouzailles.
- In the area, there's the Ayron lake, the Cébron lake, the Moncontour leisure center... There are also numerous hiking and biking trails on the Gâtine side. Parthenay, Poitiers and Futuroscope are about 30 minutes away.
