I think that the location, away from Porto but close to a train station, is a good option for visiting this city without having to worry about (or pay for) parking your car.
Unfortunately, a storm forecast for several days forced us to cut our stay short, but we'll be back at Clara's at the earliest opportunity. -

The site was perfect for pitching our tents, access to the barbecue was much appreciated and the proximity to Porto was very convenient.

It was our first stay at a HomeCamper host adress. We had the best! It is going to be really difficult to find something better then this. We had good contact before, quick friendly and clear. When we arrived we had a verry warm welcome and the family came to say hello and explain how it works at there home. A big garden with a few animals. A nice, clean, big bathroom. We stayed 2 nights and they told us about Porto, there lovely daughter helped us a lot.
To make a long story short.... We had a fantastic time. If we think back we get a warm feeling in our hearts. Because Clara and her family are so sweet, we felt at home. We are missing you!
Definitly super hosts and a great spot (also to go with train to Porto)

Clara and Valery and their daughter Lisa are very attentive and welcoming. They gave us lots of information and a map of Porto. Very nice and warm meeting. Mélanie B.Exceptional! Communication with our hosts was pleasant, before and during the stay, the location and the situation corresponded perfectly to the description and to our expectations. In addition, Clara and her family allowed us to bring and "let go" our dog, to take water, they welcomed us in their living room around a drink. A green setting, close to the train station and Porto, and at the same time in the countryside, with animals, beautiful walks in the woods among the arbutus trees. Quite a large enclosed, flat area where we parked our van, just for us. We were in "personal autonomy". Our hosts were very warm, available, helpful, with good advice, and at the same time "discreet" : in a word PERFECT ! ;-) Before arriving at their place, we visited (among others) Guimares and Amarante. On our way out, we "did" with our Jumper the beautiful Douro valley. In between, we left our van safely at their place to see Porto again by train. It is with great pleasure that we will certainly come back one day.

A large flat ground, an absolute calm, a magnificent shower room and a high quality welcome with a gargantuan aperitif!
Clara and her family are very pleasant 5 star hosts with whom you will live a dream Homecamper experience and we highly recommend this stopover if you are in Portugal towards Porto!

We really enjoyed staying at there place, we had very nice chat and we felt more like friends then guests. We had our on toilet and shower in their house, super clean and very much appreciated. On the first night we shared some wine with them and had some great chats. Perfect location close to station made getting into Porto very easy. We had to do some urgent paperwork for a visa and they were amazing helping us we couldn’t have done it without them. Fresh fruit from the garden, bread from the bakery and eggs and their own olive oil to buy. What a treat. Thank you so much for our time with you.
