Description

Gampeurs for 6 years, now it's our turn to welcome you!
Destination Bocage : A site for camping, ... for real ;-)

The setting

Close to our home but without opposite, in a hamlet of some houses, we put at your disposal a grassy ground. You will be sheltered by the natural hedges in the shade of the cherry trees.
Depending on the season, frogs, tree frogs, geese or owls may come and sing you some lullabies.

The spots

The site will be privatized for you only.
It is not closed, so dogs are accepted if they are not runaways.
The ground is flat.
The access is independent. The vehicles type 4*4 or big volume can have difficulty in maneuvering through the trees - In this case, another place of parking can be proposed to you a little further (50m of the ground).

The sanitary facilities

We put at your disposal the - now famous - dry toilets. You will be the only users and therefore also responsible for its maintenance until your departure. The instructions are quite simple ;-)
Access to drinking water will be possible.
No solar shower, for the moment.

The amenities

The Electricity Fairy will arrive at the site to allow you to recharge the phones.
As for the kitchen, please bring your own food, just like real campers! (Barbecue authorized in a secure area and depending on the weather). Of course, if needed, we are available to help you out.
No very efficient wifi network, but the 4g network is normally good whatever the operator.
Camping table and chairs will be at your disposal.
No possibility of refrigerator.

In a radius of 1h30 around your camp, you will find :
the Puy du fou at 35 min and the Futuroscope at 1h30
the Vendée Beaches or the Poitevin Marshes at 1h15
the Oriental Park of Maulévrier at 15 min
the BioParc of Doué la Fontaine or the troglodyte villages at 45 min
the Festival of Poupet (in July) at 30 min
the Caves Gratien & Meyer, Akerman and Bouvet Ladubay at 1h
but also ... the castle of St Mesmin, Pescalis in Moncoutant, the Labyrintruche and the Tour Nivelle - Museum School of the past in Courlay, the roads of the Anjou wines, the Other Factory (indoor complex) in Cholet ...

Other things

Depending on my availability and upon reservation, I can offer you breakfast or a hot dinner to go.

In order to be able to welcome you in the best way possible, please inform us in the day of your arrival time so that we can make ourselves available.
Calmness, tranquility and mutual respect are the key words of our welcome.

  • First spot via home camper and we were not disappointed. Very warm welcome. We were given a choice of location and slept facing the pond. A beautiful place, very close to nature.
